遠方的問候

剛剛過了聖誕節, 也許大家還沉浸在喜悅的氛圍中, 但是, 我們不能只緬懷於過往, 更應該往前探視, 所以今天要跟各位談談New Year’s Resolution (新年的展望).

哥林多後書第五章第十七節(2 Corinthians 5:17 )說:

17 若有人在基督裡、他就是新造的人．舊事已過、都變成新的了。

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

哥林多前書第六章第十九~二十節(1 Corinthians 6:19~20 )說:

19 豈不知你們的身子就是聖靈的殿麼．這聖靈是從　神而來、住在你們裡頭的．並且你們不是自己的人．

Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;

20 因為你們是重價買來的．所以要在你們的身子上榮耀　神。

you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.

面對新的一年, 大家都又有新的期待, 這些個新年展望是什麼呢? 不外乎1.) 好好照顧自己/ 家人 2.) 常來教會/ 邀約親朋好友 3.) 多點時間讀聖經/ 一天24小時好像都不夠用 4.) 世界和平 5.) 減肥成功/ 好像每年都這麼說 6.) 戒煙酒/ 別又成了借煙酒….等等.

哥林多後書第六章第十六~十八節(2 Corinthians 6:16~18 )說:

16 　神的殿和偶像有甚麼相同呢．因為我們是永生　神的殿．就如　神曾說、『我要在他們中間居住、在他們中間來往．我要作他們的　神、他們要作我的子民。』

What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people."

17 又說、『你們務要從他們中間出來、與他們分別、不要沾不潔淨的物、我就收納你們。

"Therefore come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you."

18 我要作你們的父、你們要作我的兒女。』這是全能的主說的。

"I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty."

哥林多後書第七章第一節(2 Corinthians 7:1 )說:

1 親愛的弟兄阿、我們既有這等應許、就當潔淨自己、除去身體靈魂一切的污穢、敬畏　神、得以成聖。

Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.

既然這樣, 讓我們把觀念小小的轉個彎, 一個全新的開始, 正如同一個接受洗禮成為基督徒的人, 把過往種種一筆洗刷掉, 不僅獲得全新的生命, 這樣一來, 更進一步的可以親近上帝, 並跟隨上帝的腳步, 一步一步的往神的王國前進! 這樣子生命不是更有意義嗎? ~ 等你歡喜來逗陣 ~
