每一次上長老 Duff 的課, 明明講的就是聖經的東西, 經由他的口耳相傳, 一點都不嚴肅難懂, 再加上他豐富的肢體語言, 弄得時間都拖很久(像今天12:30才下課), 但總覺趣味橫生, 笑聲不斷, 聽來自是輕鬆愉快. 旁邊 Amanda 適時幫腔甚至扮丑臉...真是服了這對寶貝父女檔, 沒來聽課, 殊為可惜!
今天的主題, 也是好與壞的抉擇, 我們都知道魔鬼撒旦, 是邪惡的化身, 專門引誘人們往壞裡去, 小至說謊欺騙, 大至作姦犯科, 都是他的拿手好戲; 只要一個疏忽, 就會被他縴著鼻子走. 記得獵鹿季節, 我們除了屏息靜氣, 甚至偽裝以接近鹿群, 有時還會擺上覆蓋著雜草的補獸夾; 還有釣魚時, 我們也準備了各式各樣的魚餌, 以吸引魚兒; 不管捕獸或釣魚, 其目的就是誘使獵物上鉤. 我們在撒旦魔鬼的眼中, 就是那些獵物, 而他知曉所有的陷阱與誘惑, 時時刻刻都在想著引君入甕.
耶和華期望我們能信靠他與遵從他的話(Trust and Obey), 就不怕也不會受到撒旦的誘惑了.
以賽亞書 Isaih 5:20
禍哉、那些稱惡為善、稱善為惡、以暗為光、以光為暗、以苦為甜、以甜為苦的人。
Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.
如果不明是非, 不辨偽裝, 吞食裹著糖蜜的魚鉤, 那就大禍臨頭了.
約翰福音 John 13:33
我先前不認識他．只是那差我來用水施洗的、對我說、你看見聖靈降下來、住在誰的身上、誰就是用聖靈施洗的。
I would not have known him, except that the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, 'The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is he who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.'
施洗者約翰幫耶穌受洗, 他知道耶穌才是大能的神子, 權炳大過撒旦魔鬼.
耶利米書 Jeremiah 5:26
因為在我民中有惡人、他們埋伏窺探、好像捕鳥的人．他們設立圈套陷害人。
"Among my people are wicked men who lie in wait like men who snare birds and like those who set traps to catch men.
心懷不正的人, 想方設法就是要拖那些意志不堅的人們步入魔鬼道.
詩篇 Psalms 9:14-15
14 好叫我述說你一切的美德．我必在錫安城的門、〔城原文作女子〕因你的救恩歡樂。
that I may declare your praises in the gates of the Daughter of Zion and there rejoice in your salvation.
15 外邦人陷在自己所掘的坑中．他們的腳在自己暗設的網羅裡纏住了。
The nations have fallen into the pit they have dug; their feet are caught in the net they have hidden.
作姦犯科的人, 得不到救恩, 身陷在自設的羅網裡, 無法翻身脫離苦海.
詩篇 Psalms 91:1-3
1 住在至高者隱密處的、必住在全能者的蔭下。
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 我要論到耶和華說、他是我的避難所、是我的山寨、是我的 神、是我所倚靠的。
I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."
3 他必救你脫離捕鳥人的網羅、和毒害的瘟疫。
Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence.
信靠耶和華的人有福了, 因你的信已得著義, 經由聖靈的引導趨吉避兇, 受到大大的保護.
詩篇 Psalms 119:110
惡人為我設下網羅．我卻沒有偏離你的訓詞。
The wicked have set a snare for me, but I have not strayed from your precepts.
我們能信靠耶和華與遵從他的話(Trust and Obey), 自然可不離正信之道.
詩篇 Psalms 142:1-7
1 〔大衛在洞裡作的訓誨詩、乃是祈禱。〕我發聲哀告耶和華．發聲懇求耶和華。
A maskil of David. When he was in the cave. A prayer. I cry aloud to the LORD; I lift up my voice to the LORD for mercy.
2 我在他面前吐露我的苦情．陳說我的患難。
I pour out my complaint before him; before him I tell my trouble.
3 我的靈在我裡面發昏的時候、你知道我的道路。在我行的路上、敵人為我暗設網羅。
When my spirit grows faint within me, it is you who know my way. In the path where I walk men have hidden a snare for me.
4 求你向我右邊觀看、因為沒有人認識我．我無處避難、也沒有人眷顧我。
Look to my right and see; no one is concerned for me. I have no refuge; no one cares for my life.
5 耶和華阿、我曾向你哀求．我說、你是我的避難所．在活人之地、你是我的福分。
I cry to you, O LORD; I say, "You are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living."
6 求你側耳聽我的呼求、因我落到極卑之地．求你救我脫離逼迫我的人、因為他們比我強盛。
Listen to my cry, for I am in desperate need; rescue me from those who pursue me, for they are too strong for me.
7 求你領我出離被囚之地、我好稱讚你的名．義人必環繞我、因為你是用厚恩待我。
Set me free from my prison, that I may praise your name. Then the righteous will gather about me because of your goodness to me.
正信的人, 也不免會有試煉的時候, 這是因為耶和華, 將借著試煉, 增強我們抵抗撒旦的誘惑力, 給予我們更好的境界.
箴言 Proverbs 22:24-26
24 好生氣的人、不可與他結交．暴怒的人、不可與他來往．
Do not make friends with a hot-tempered man, do not associate with one easily angered,
25 恐怕你效法他的行為、自己就陷在網羅裡。
or you may learn his ways and get yourself ensnared.
26 不要與人擊掌、不要為欠債的作保。
Do not be a man who strikes hands in pledge or puts up security for debts;
無論親朋好友, 遠親近鄰, 常常因為金錢的來往, 惡目相向, 所以經文裡提及 : 親友間可以救急, 不應求回報, 最好不要有借貸作保的關係, 免得陷入裡外不是人, 甚至交惡至不相往來.
提摩太前書 I Timorthy 6:5-12
5 並那壞了心術、失喪真理之人的爭競。他們以敬虔為得利的門路．
and constant friction between men of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain.
6 然而敬虔加上知足的心便是大利了．
But godliness with contentment is great gain.
7 因為我們沒有帶甚麼到世上來、也不能帶甚麼去．
For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it.
8 只要有衣有食、就當知足。
But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that.
9 但那些想要發財的人、就陷在迷惑、落在網羅、和許多無知有害的私慾裡、叫人沉在敗壞和滅亡中。
People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction.
10 貪財是萬惡之根．有人貪戀錢財、就被引誘離了真道、用許多愁苦把自己刺透了。
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
11 但你這屬 神的人、要逃避這些事、追求公義、敬虔、信心、愛心、忍耐、溫柔。
But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.
12 你要為真道打那美好的仗、持定永生．你為此被召．也在許多見證人面前、已經作了那美好的見證。
Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
滾滾紅塵, 十里洋場, 莫不是追逐金錢遊戲的狩獵場, 在追逐金錢遊戲的過程中, 我們何嘗不也是撒旦魔鬼的競獵物?
詩篇 Psalms 40:1-5
1 〔大衛的詩、交與伶長。〕我曾耐性等候耶和華．他垂聽我的呼求。
For the director of music. Of David. A psalm. I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry.
2 他從禍坑裡、從淤泥中、把我拉上來、使我的腳立在磐石上、使我腳步穩當。
He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.
3 他使我口唱新歌、就是讚美我們 神的話．許多人必看見而懼怕、並要倚靠耶和華
He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the LORD.
4 那倚靠耶和華、不理會狂傲和偏向虛假之輩的、這人便為有福。
Blessed is the man who makes the LORD his trust, who does not look to the proud, to those who turn aside to false gods.
5 耶和華我的 神阿、你所行的奇事、並你向我們所懷的意念甚多、不能向你陳明．若要陳明、其事不可勝數。
Many, O LORD my God, are the wonders you have done. The things you planned for us no one can recount to you; were I to speak and tell of them, they would be too many to declare.
前面提到, 我們常有些試煉橫亙在眼前, 無非是耶和華的愛心, 想增強我們的能力; 旦畢竟是人體, 能承受的壓力殊為有限, 在忍無可忍時, 何妨呼求耶和華的名, 祈求他的憐憫與寬恕.
箴言 Proverbs 3:5-6
5 你要專心仰賴耶和華、不可倚靠自己的聰明．
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
6 在你一切所行的事上、都要認定他、他必指引你的路。
in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
這是今天最後的功課, 希望大家能仰賴耶和華, 這樣在所行的一切事上, 他會給予指引. 千萬不要自以為小聰明, 我行我素, 終至淪陷並被撒旦魔鬼玩弄在手掌之中. (人有幾兩重, 耶和華可是一清二楚哟)
