Topic: Trust and Obey主題: 信任與遵從

長老 Duff, 一開場就先跟大家敘敘舊, 話說兩年在台灣的點點滴滴, 一如往常般的談笑風生, 若非32吋的螢幕把他給框住, 活脫脫直以為他人就在身邊, 就是在眼前.

約翰福音 John 14:1-15

1 你們心裡不要憂愁．你們信　神、也當信我。

"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me.

2 在我父的家裡、有許多住處．若是沒有、我就早已告訴你們了．我去原是為你們豫備地方去。

In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you.

神愛世人, 希望大家信靠他並遵從他的誡律(一)敬愛耶和華(二)愛鄰如己; 如此一來, 有教友的地方就是 ZION 錫安的世界(神的王國), 也是耶和華所為我們預備的地方.

3 我若去為你們豫備了地方、就必再來接你們到我那裡去．我在那裡、叫你們也在那裡。

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

4 我往那裡去、你們知道．那條路、你們也知道。〔有古卷作我往那裡去你們知道那條路〕

You know the way to the place where I am going."

5 多馬對他說、主阿、我們不知道你往那裡去、怎麼知道那條路呢。

Thomas said to him, "Lord, we don't know where you are going, so how can we know the way?"

6 耶穌說、我就是道路、真理、生命．若不藉著我、沒有人能到父那裡去。

Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

7 你們若認識我、也就認識我的父．從今以後、你們認識他、並且已經看見他。

If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him."

8 腓力對他說、求主將父顯給我們看、我們就知足了。

Philip said, "Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us."

9 耶穌對他說、腓力、我與你們同在這麼長久、你還不認識我麼。人看見了我、就是看見了父．你怎麼說、將父顯給我們看呢。

Jesus answered: "Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'?

10 我在父裡面、父在我裡面、你不信麼。我對你們所說的話、不是憑著自己說的、乃是住在我裡面的父作他自己的事。

Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work.

11 你們當信我、我在父裡面、父在我裡面．即或不信、也當因我所作的事信我。

Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves.

12 我實實在在的告訴你們、我所作的事、信我的人也要作．並且要作比這更大的事．因為我往父那裡去。

I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

13 你們奉我的名、無論求甚麼、我必成就、叫父因兒子得榮耀。

And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father.

14 你們若奉我名求甚麼、我必成就。

You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

15 你們若愛我、就必遵守我的命令。

"If you love me, you will obey what I command."

 耶和華治癒世人的痲瘋、眼盲、瘸腿等等, 並叫人死而復生, 又給與我們承諾, 只要我們遵從 祂的誡律, 必然得到平安、喜悅和滿滿的愛。

約翰一書 1 John 5:3

3 我們遵守神的誡命，這就是愛他了，並且他的誡命不是難守的。

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.

尼腓一書 1 Nephi 1:65

事情是這樣的，我，尼腓，對我父親說：我會去做主所命令的事，因為我知道，主決不命令人類兒女去做任何事情，除非祂為他們預備道路，來完成祂所命令的事。

And it came to pass that I, Nephi, said unto my father, I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that the Lord gives no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them.

回想來台之前, 曾禱告 ” 神要我做什麼?” 正巧, 長老 Dan 打電話來說, 長老 Jared Smith 一家在台已三年想返美, 你要不要去接手啊? 就這樣, 我把作了18年的工作給辭去, 帶著全家大小五口人, 來到地球的另一端. 兩年之後回美,現在 我換了個比之前的待遇與福利更好的工作. 感謝  主!

歌林多後書 2 Corinthians 5:17

若有人在基督裡，他就是新造的人，舊事已過，都變成新的了。

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

提摩太後書 2 Timothy 1:7

因為神賜給我們，不是膽怯的心，乃是剛強、仁愛、謹守的心。

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

勇於承擔  神所給予的工作, 祂必從旁協助, 使你事事順遂, 平平安安.

馬太福音 Matthew 9:9 (稅務員馬太 Matthew the Tax Collector)

耶穌從那裡往前走，看見一個人名叫馬太，坐在稅關上，就對他說：你跟從我來。他就起來跟從了耶穌。

As Jesus passed on from there, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, “Follow Me.” So he arose and followed Him.

馬可福音 Mark 1:16,17 (漁夫受感召成為門徒 Fishermen Called as Disciples)

16 耶穌順著加利利的海邊走，看見西門和西門的兄弟安得烈在海裡撒網 ；他們本是打魚的。

And as He walked by the Sea of Galilee, He saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen.

17 耶穌對他們說：來跟從我，我要叫你們得人如得魚一樣。

Then Jesus said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men.”

馬太福音 Matthew 16:24

於是耶穌對門徒說：若有人要跟從我，就當捨己，背起他的十字架來跟 從我。

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

不管你之前是稅吏, 是漁夫, 神檢選的子弟兵, 必要時得捨棄世俗一切, 背負起沉重的十字架,誠如當年龍門靜修營裡, 有Eileen、Rachel與 Iris所唱的 Trust and Obey一樣, 都當信任 祂與遵從 祂,

約翰福音 John 8:12

耶穌又對眾人說：我是世界的光。跟從我的，就不在黑暗裡走，必要得著生命的光。

Then spoke Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

約翰福音 John 10:27

我的羊聽我的聲音，我也認識他們，他們也跟著我。

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

神 是一個很好的牧羊者, 眷顧著羊圈裡的芸芸眾生(教友), 也觀護著青草地上的普羅大眾, 很高興現在已有幾位教友在台灣, 神給予你們的工作就是向親朋好友推崇 耶和華的愛, 並邀請他們來教會聆聽福音, 和分享感受充滿聖靈的喜悅.
