連講了四個禮拜的摩西, 今天加緊腳步, 抓住重點跳躍式的, 把他給做一個結束.
約書亞記 (Joshua) 2:9-13
9 對他們說、我知道耶和華已經把這地賜給你們、並且因你們的緣故我們都驚慌了．這地的一切居民、在你們面前心都消化了。
and said to them, "I know that the LORD has given this land to you and that a great fear of you has fallen on us, so that all who live in this country are melting in fear because of you.
10 因為我們聽見你們出埃及的時候、耶和華怎樣在你們前面使紅海的水乾了．並且你們怎樣待約但河東的兩個亞摩利王西宏和噩、將他們盡行毀滅。
We have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red Sea for you when you came out of Egypt , and what you did to Sihon and Og, the two kings of the Amorites east of the Jordan, whom you completely destroyed.
11 我們一聽見這些事、心就消化了。因你們的緣故、並無一人有膽氣．耶和華你們的 神、本是上天下地的 神。
When we heard of it, our hearts melted and everyone's courage failed because of you, for the LORD your God is God in heaven above and on the earth below.
12 現在我既是恩待你們、求你們指著耶和華向我起誓、也要恩待我父家、並給我一個實在的證據、
Now then, please swear to me by the LORD that you will show kindness to my family, because I have shown kindness to you. Give me a sure sign
13 要救活我的父母、弟兄、姊妹、和一切屬他們的、拯救我們性命不死。
that you will spare the lives of my father and mother, my brothers and sisters, and all who belong to them, and that you will save us from death."
摩西於死前按立約書亞為聖神職人員, 並囑託他帶領以色列民眾, 跨過約旦河前往西邊的應許之地. 耶和華再次的顯示神蹟, 把約旦河河水瞬間停頓, 讓12支族的民眾踩著乾涸的河床底從容的過河. 但是其中約2又2分之一支族的民眾, 不願過河而留在約旦河東岸屯墾生活.
約書亞記 (Joshua) 3:13-16
13 等到抬普天下主耶和華約櫃的祭司把腳站在約但河水裡、約但河的水、就是從上往下流的水、必然斷絕、立起成壘。
And as soon as the priests who carry the ark of the LORD--the Lord of all the earth--set foot in the Jordan, its waters flowing downstream will be cut off and stand up in a heap."
14 百姓離開帳棚、要過約但河的時候、抬約櫃的祭司、乃在百姓的前頭、
So when the people broke camp to cross the Jordan , the priests carrying the ark of the covenant went ahead of them.
15 他們到了約但河、腳一入水、（原來約但河水、在收割的日子、漲過兩岸）
Now the Jordan is at flood stage all during harvest. Yet as soon as the priests who carried the ark reached the Jordan and their feet touched the water's edge,
16 那從上往下流的水、便在極遠之地、撒拉但旁的亞當城那裡停住、立起成壘．那往亞拉巴的海、就是鹽海、下流的水、全然斷絕。於是百姓在耶利哥的對面過去了。
the water from upstream stopped flowing. It piled up in a heap a great distance away, at a town called Adam in the vicinity of Zarethan, while the water flowing down to the Sea of the Arabah (the Salt Sea ) was completely cut off. So the people crossed over opposite Jericho .
約書亞派兩名細作潛入耶利哥城, 因衛士盤查險被緝獲, 受婦人喇合一家掩護, 並助他們脫逃生返. 而河西的民眾多是蠻橫無禮之境, 耶和華教約書亞說: 依我所說去做, 我要把他們都毀滅了, 好讓你們可以平安的進駐.
約書亞記 (Joshua) 6:1-5; 16-17
1 耶利哥的城門因以色列人就關得嚴緊、無人出入。
Now Jericho was tightly shut up because of the Israelites. No one went out and no one came in.
2 耶和華曉諭約書亞說、看哪、我已經把耶利哥、和耶利哥的王、並大能的勇士、都交在你手中。
Then the LORD said to Joshua, "See, I have delivered Jericho into your hands, along with its king and its fighting men.
3 你們的一切兵丁要圍繞這城、一日圍繞一次．六日都要這樣行。
March around the city once with all the armed men. Do this for six days.
4 七個祭司要拿七個羊角走在約櫃前．到第七日你們要繞城七次、祭司也要吹角。
Have seven priests carry trumpets of rams' horns in front of the ark. On the seventh day, march around the city seven times, with the priests blowing the trumpets.
5 他們吹的角聲拖長、你們聽見角聲、眾百姓要大聲呼喊、城牆就必塌陷．各人都要往前直上。
When you hear them sound a long blast on the trumpets, have all the people give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse and the people will go up, every man straight in."
16 到了第七次、祭司吹角的時候、約書亞吩咐百姓說、呼喊罷．因為耶和華已經把城交給你們了。
The seventh time around, when the priests sounded the trumpet blast, Joshua commanded the people, "Shout! For the LORD has given you the city!
17 這城和其中所有的、都要在耶和華面前毀滅．只有妓女喇合、與他家中所有的、可以存活、因為他隱藏了我們所打發的使者。
The city and all that is in it are to be devoted to the LORD. Only Rahab the prostitute and all who are with her in her house shall be spared, because she hid the spies we sent.
某些城池不易攻破, 約書亞再次祈求, 耶何華也再次的行神蹟, 幫助以色列人打贏所有的仗.
約書亞記 (Joshua) 10:12-14
12 當耶和華將亞摩利人交付以色列人的日子、約書亞就禱告耶和華、在以色列人眼前說、日頭阿、你要停在基遍．月亮阿、你要止在亞雅崙谷。
On the day the LORD gave the Amorites over to Israel , Joshua said to the LORD in the presence of Israel : "O sun, stand still over Gibeon, O moon, over the Valley of Aijalon ."
13 於是日頭停留、月亮止住、直等國民向敵人報仇．這事豈不是寫在雅煞珥書上麼．日頭在天當中停住、不急速下落、約有一日之久。
So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, till the nation avenged itself on its enemies, as it is written in the Book of Jashar. The sun stopped in the middle of the sky and delayed going down about a full day.
14 在這日以前、這日以後、耶和華聽人的禱告、沒有像這日的．是因耶和華為以色列爭戰。
There has never been a day like it before or since, a day when the LORD listened to a man. Surely the LORD was fighting for Israel !
共有9又2分之一支族的民眾, 跟隨約書亞收復了河西的故土, 而不可思議的約書亞竟帶著約400年前的祖先雅各(Jacob)的骸骨, 隨後即安置在應許之地的故土上.
約書亞記 (Joshua) 14:4
4 因為約瑟的子孫、是兩個支派、就是瑪拿西、和以法蓮、所以沒有把地分給利未人、但給他們城邑居住、並城邑的郊野、可以牧養他們的牲畜、安置他們的財物。
for the sons of Joseph had become two tribes--Manasseh and Ephraim. The Levites received no share of the land but only towns to live in, with pasturelands for their flocks and herds.
對那些沒有過河的民眾, 約書亞依然緊緊盯著他們, 要他們信靠耶和華.
約書亞記 (Joshua) 24:15
15 若是你們以事奉耶和華為不好、今日就可以選擇所要事奉的、是你們列祖在大河那邊所事奉的神呢、是你們所住這地的亞摩利人的神呢。至於我、和我家、我們必定事奉耶和華。
But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD."

** 還記得長老 Jared & Mindy 夫婦嗎? 來台三年傳福音, 約5.6年前返美後, 受大環境影響, 工作不甚如意; 所幸耶和華一直在他們身邊, 現在已找到穩定的工作, 還是跟以前一樣的帥帥的飛行員, 他們也換新房子了 – 還有游泳池呢 – Whitney & Mia 最是高興了吧!
** Paul Lin 在街上邀約國高中的學生, 並同家長於當天來教會上課, 他們是 Tony, 堂妹 Ruby 和堂弟三人, 並約定下週日09:30提前到教會, 由 Paul Lin 幫他們上英文課, 聽說 Tony 屆時將邀約更多同學來上課, 希望 Paul Lin 會忙的過來….. 使用教會原則上不收費用, 但很期待大家可以自由奉獻, 多少填補一下水電等支出. 感恩!
