連續兩個星期網路無法連線, 所以我周五晚都有先 check 過, 確保周日能連線, 怎知道今早又出現狀況…趕緊再檢查一下線路, 才發現 Modem 被關機了; 障礙排除後, 連線就OK啦!
正好趕上 Monica 的呼叫, 她說本來有想要打電話過來問, 好在我們即時上線, 解除她們等無人的疑慮.
2/26 講到信心十二條文之三的第一項 Faith對主耶穌基督的信心
12-3 We believe that the first principles and ordinances of the Gospel are: first, Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; second, Repentance; third, Baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; fourth, Laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost.
我們信福音的首要原則和教儀為：第一，對主耶穌基督的信心;第二，悔改;第三，為罪的赦免的浸沒洗禮;第四，獲得聖靈恩賜的按手禮。
今天, 繼續講第二項 “Repentance 悔改”, 如果我們做錯了, 應該祈求對方的諒解, 更要祈求上帝的赦免, 之後不要再犯同樣的過失.
接著, 來談談第三項 ”Baptism洗禮”, 我們教會的洗禮儀式, 遵循耶穌基督為我們設立的古制, 是要全身浸泡在水裡(意謂洗去一身的罪愆), 待浮出水面是謂重生! 這樣一來才算是完成浸洗禮! (網路品質早已不佳, 導致Monica聲音忽起忽落, 忽遠忽近, 聽得很吃力, 間中使用小白板, 輔以文字提示, 勉強說完這段)
約翰福音 (John) 3:5
耶穌說、我實實在在的告訴你、人若不是從水和聖靈生的、就不能進 神的國。
Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.
路加福音 (Luke) 3:21
21 眾百姓都受了洗、耶穌也受了洗、正禱告的時候、天就開了、
When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. And as he was praying, heaven was opened
路加福音 (Luke) 3:16
16 約翰說、我是用水給你們施洗、但有一位能力比我更大的要來、我就是給他解鞋帶也不配．他要用聖靈與火給你們施洗。
John answered them all, "I baptize you with water. But one more powerful than I will come, the thongs of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.
使徒行傳 (Acts) 8:14-17
14 使徒在耶路撒冷、聽見撒瑪利亞人領受了 神的道、就打發彼得約翰往他們那裡去。
When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had accepted the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them.
15 兩個人到了、就為他們禱告、要叫他們受聖靈．
When they arrived, they prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit,
16 因為聖靈還沒有降在他們一個人身上．他們只奉主耶穌的名受了洗。
because the Holy Spirit had not yet come upon any of them; they had simply been baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.
17 於是使徒按手在他們頭上、他們就受了聖靈。
Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.
但是 ”Baptism洗禮”, 本身包含兩個儀式, 除了上述浸水禮之外, 還有一個重要的典禮, 那就是第四項，”Laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost獲得聖靈恩賜的按手禮”; 又稱為" 認證禮 "關於這部份, 因時間關係, 我們等下次再繼續談.
課後, 大家再次討論說: 你看用 Skype 上課, 網路連線不穩定, 上課品質也不好啊! 就把周五晚課拿出來再上一遍不就好了嗎! 況且, 現在他們夏令時間, 我們十二點, 他們也晚上十一點, 對早睡的他們來說, 隔天還要上美國分會做禮拜, 會很累! 好吧, 大家的意思, 我儘快找個機會就跟 Monica 老實說, 看看她的反應!
