一開場, 眼尖的我們, 發現又有一位新朋友, 出現在螢光幕前, 原來是初次前來的Drew, 他是Stephen 和 Kelvin 的 uncle(美國人的uncle, 可以是舅舅、叔叔、伯父、姑丈、姨丈等等的通稱, 另一個字是 aunt, 常常弄得我們有時很難搞清楚他們之間的關係) Drew 則趁機跟大家問好.
Paul 也同時解釋, 今天是228紀念日, 我們有三天連假, 很多人都跑去看花燈, 還是住過台灣的長老丹, 比較明白228的含意, 忙幫著解釋它的歷史由來.
好了, 我們先來一首“Praise to the Lord”那是藍本詩歌的第十二首, 唱完有請Stephen 作課前禱告. 接著, 我想談的是“聖靈 Holy Spirit”, 以及如何跟隨聖靈.
就如剛剛 Stephen 禱告所提到的, 聖靈也許可以在一旁協助我們, 達成我們的目標, 使我們身、心、靈可以和耶穌基督契合在一起, 因為我們可以因著聖靈, 找到親近耶穌基督的路. 無論獨處或闖蕩江湖, 聖靈隨時隨地都伴隨在我們的身心裡, 所以我們可以堅定信念, 向著人生的目標勇往直前.
可是, 聖靈也有它脆弱的一面, 致使我們時常受到罪惡的牽絆, 甚至因此遠離我們; 若我們想要有聖靈不離身, 我們就必須要悔改; 使我們不再盲從世界上感官需索的誘惑, 而讓我們緊緊追隨在耶穌基督的聖靈裡. 以下翻閱到哥林多前書：
哥林多前書 1 Corinthians 2:9-16
9 如經上所記、『 神為愛他的人所豫備的、是眼睛未曾看見、耳朵未曾聽見、人心也未曾想到的。』
However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him"--
10 只有 神藉著聖靈向我們顯明了．因為聖靈參透萬事、就是 神深奧的事也參透了。
but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.
11 除了在人裡頭的靈、誰知道人的事．像這樣、除了 神的靈、也沒有人知道 神的事。
For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
12 我們所領受的、並不是世上的靈、乃是從 神來的靈、叫我們能知道 神開恩賜給我們的事。
We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us.
13 並且我們講說這些事、不是用人智慧所指教的言語、乃是用聖靈所指教的言語、將屬靈的話、解釋屬靈的事。〔或作將屬靈的事講與屬靈的人〕
This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words.
14 然而屬血氣的人不領會 神聖靈的事、反倒以為愚拙．並且不能知道、因為這些事惟有屬靈的人纔能看透。
The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15 屬靈的人能看透萬事、卻沒有一人能看透了他。
The spiritual man makes judgments about all things, but he himself is not subject to any man's judgment:
16 誰曾知道主的心去教導他呢．但我們是有基督的心了。
"For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him?" But we have the mind of Christ.
這裡說到我們若擁有聖靈, 就能明辨是非了, 世人或者無法看透, 或者根本對屬於耶穌基督的聖靈, 無動於衷. 經由和基督耶穌所簽訂的盟約- 在受洗的剎那起, 也正式擺脫對於世人的無知或者無法看透的世俗, 留下週遭一如之前尚未接受耶基督的那個故我.
當我們接受了洗禮, 也接受了和主所訂定的盟約, 煞時作為一個全新的人. 如果你願意, 就要放下那個故我, 以及隨它而去的所有舊習性, 一心嚮往屬於基督耶穌, 或是聖靈所引導我們去做的事.
而聖靈所要我們去做的事, 將充滿愛心、平安和喜悅. 以及學習謙卑, 學習溫恂以取得一個和諧的生活. 除了全心全意的敬愛耶和華, 更要遵守愛鄰如己的誡令.
當然, 丟棄掉舊習性是要同時進行的, 舊習性認真說來不外乎：驕傲、情慾、壞脾氣、貪婪、自私、口腹之慾、懶惰以及會令人沉迷的玩樂- 如打電動等等的情事.
所以, 當你的生命中有了聖靈之後, 我們就是生活在基督耶穌的懷抱中, 你這才將會發現同時有另一批巨大的群組, 其實是和我們一同生活在基督耶穌的懷抱中的. 在這樣的氛圍中, 你接收到和諧的感受, 一如你所散發的氣息, 也在他們的身上顯現著.
一種前所未見受到祝福的束缚, 自我們生活在基督耶穌的懷抱起, 開始在週遭共同生活的人群裡醞釀、發酵; 儘管外在的不同, 我們都緊緊的聚集在一塊, 享受著耶穌基督的福蔭.
以我自己來說, 我曾經游離在教會之外, 大約有十年之久, 在這段期間內, 我沒有踏進教會ㄧ步過; 但是, 當那天重新踏進教會時, 我第一瞬間感覺到的就是- 舒服, 這是我在外遊蕩的身心, 從來沒有過的感覺, 我終於儆醒, 我找到回家的路了.
最後, 我在基督耶穌的面前悔改, 我全心全意的追隨祂, 我感覺到我又跟眾多的聖徒連結在一起了; 同時也切割掉舊習性世界裡的我, 以及那些顯屬不同世界的舊朋友了. 雖然, 我仍有跟他們取得聯繫, 但是, 他們似乎已離我越來越遠了. 或許雅各這章節, 說的就是我過去的寫照：
雅各書 James 4:4
4 你們這些淫亂的人哪、〔淫亂的人原文作淫婦〕豈不知與世俗為友、就是與 神為敵麼．所以凡想要與世俗為友的、就是與 神為敵了。
You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God? Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.
同時, 繼續翻閱啟示錄第三章：
啟示錄 Revelation 3:15-17
15 我知道你的行為、你也不冷也不熱．我巴不得你或冷或熱。
I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other!
16 你既如溫水、也不冷也不熱、所以我必從我口中把你吐出去。
So, because you are lukewarm--neither hot nor cold--I am about to spit you out of my mouth.
17 你說、我是富足、已經發了財、一樣都不缺．卻不知道你是那困苦、可憐、貧窮、瞎眼、赤身的．
You say, 'I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.' But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked.
這裡說的正是, 我們應該全心全意的, 嚮往與耶穌基督在一起的共同生活圈, 而不該也不能腳踏兩條船- 在靈與慾之間遊走.
如果, 我們能夠和耶穌基督生活在一起, 我們將可擁有全世界, 包括財富、名聲以及任何我們所想要的; 但是, 如果你背棄聖靈, 也等於同時遠離了耶和華, 那麼你將一文不名、一無所有.
所以, 如何選擇是相當重要的事, 選擇跟隨聖靈的腳步是前往永生的大道, 若是選擇情慾的放縱, 那下場只有埋身在死亡的蔭谷了.
我們來參考耶利米書十七章的說明：
耶利米書 Jeremiah 17:5-8
5 耶和華如此說、倚靠人血肉的膀臂、心中離棄耶和華的、那人有禍了．
This is what the LORD says: "Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who depends on flesh for his strength and whose heart turns away from the LORD.
6 因他必像沙漠的杜松、不見福樂來到、卻要住曠野乾旱之處、無人居住的鹼地。
He will be like a bush in the wastelands; he will not see prosperity when it comes. He will dwell in the parched places of the desert, in a salt land where no one lives.
7 倚靠耶和華、以耶和華為可靠的、那人有福了。
"But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him.
8 他必像樹栽於水旁、在河邊扎根、炎熱來到、並不懼怕、葉子仍必青翠、在乾旱之年毫無掛慮、而且結果不止。
He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit."
正如以上所說, 我們若是陷入情慾的糾葛, 或是自私自利, 甚至於違背教義的訓誡, 以世俗為生活依歸, 最終將以被咒詛並難以挽回為下場. 我們更不該輕信這些：說什麼相信教義或遵守誡律, 將不被祝福會不得善終等等謠言.
事實上, 尋求教義和遵守耶和華的誡律, 一直都是受到祝福的. 其實這是很簡單的選擇題, 要選擇信靠耶穌基督, 提昇自己到永生的國度? 亦或是相信自己並跟著世俗情慾隨波逐流, 墜入永不出世的困境? 相信聰明如你, 應該已經知道答案了!
沒有錯! 我們信靠耶和華、耶穌基督和聖靈! 換句話說, 我們是蒙受到眷顧和祝福的, 不管在生活或是工作上, 都能有豐收的成果. 接下來翻閱到箴言第三章, 雖然內容很相近, 卻更為明確而有質感：
箴言 Proverbs 3:5-8
5 你要專心仰賴耶和華、不可倚靠自己的聰明．
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
6 在你一切所行的事上、都要認定他、他必指引你的路。
in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
7 不要自以為有智慧．要敬畏耶和華、遠離惡事．
Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil.
8 這便醫治你的肚臍、滋潤你的百骨。
This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.
依據我對聖經的瞭解, 先知但以理是一位全心全意信靠耶和華的人. 相關經文都詳列在但以理書裡, 你們可以自行翻閱第六章的內容, 好全盤了解先知但以理被關在獅子籠裡, 一夜無事的真實見證.
但以理書 Daniel 6:16-27 ( 自行參閱 Read only)
16 王下令、人就把但以理帶來、扔在獅子坑中．王對但以理說、你所常事奉的 神、他必救你。
So the king gave the order, and they brought Daniel and threw him into the lions' den. The king said to Daniel, "May your God, whom you serve continually, rescue you!"
17 有人搬石頭放在坑口、王用自巳的璽、和大臣的印、封閉那坑、使懲辦但以理的事、毫無更改。
A stone was brought and placed over the mouth of the den, and the king sealed it with his own signet ring and with the rings of his nobles, so that Daniel's situation might not be changed.
18 王回宮、終夜禁食、無人拿樂器到他面前．並且睡不著覺。
Then the king returned to his palace and spent the night without eating and without any entertainment being brought to him. And he could not sleep.
19 次日黎明、王就起來、急忙往獅子坑裡去、
At the first light of dawn, the king got up and hurried to the lions' den.
20 臨近坑邊、哀聲呼叫但以理、對但以理說、永生 神的僕人但以理阿、你所常事奉的 神能救你脫離獅子麼。
When he came near the den, he called to Daniel in an anguished voice, "Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to rescue you from the lions?"
21 但以理對王說、願王萬歲。
Daniel answered, "O king, live forever!
22 我的 神差遣使者、封住獅子的口、叫獅子不傷我、因我在 神面前無辜、我在王面前也沒有行過虧損的事。
My God sent his angel, and he shut the mouths of the lions. They have not hurt me, because I was found innocent in his sight. Nor have I ever done any wrong before you, O king."
23 王就甚喜樂、吩咐人將但以理從坑裡縏上來．於是但以理從坑裡被繫上來．身上毫無傷損、因為信靠他的 神。
The king was overjoyed and gave orders to lift Daniel out of the den. And when Daniel was lifted from the den, no wound was found on him, because he had trusted in his God.
24 王下令、人就把那些控告但以理的人、連他們的妻子兒女都帶來、扔在獅子坑中．他們還沒有到坑底、獅子就抓住他們、〔抓住原文作勝了〕咬碎他們的骨頭。
At the king's command, the men who had falsely accused Daniel were brought in and thrown into the lions' den, along with their wives and children. And before they reached the floor of the den, the lions overpowered them and crushed all their bones.
25那時大利烏王傳旨、曉諭住在全地、各方各國各族的人、說、願你們大享平安．
Then King Darius wrote to all the peoples, nations and men of every language throughout the land: "May you prosper greatly!
26 現在我降旨曉諭我所統轄的全國人民、要在但以理的 神面前、戰兢恐懼、因為他是永遠長存的活 神、他的國永不敗壞、他的權柄永存無極．
"I issue a decree that in every part of my kingdom people must fear and reverence the God of Daniel. "For he is the living God and he endures forever; his kingdom will not be destroyed, his dominion will never end.
27 他護庇人、搭救人、在天上地下施行神蹟奇事、救了但以理脫離獅子的口。
He rescues and he saves; he performs signs and wonders in the heavens and on the earth. He has rescued Daniel from the power of the lions."
但以理遵守耶和華的所有律法, 遠比遵守大利烏王的律法, 因為人的律法有時會與耶和華的律法相衝突, 甚至於違背耶和華的律法.
在這裡, 我想分享另一個先知約拿的故事, 他並不十分信仰耶和華, 有一次 神命令他前往尼尼微(古代亞述首都)去傳道.
可是, 當他聽到這命令時, 卻起身離開, 並搭船往反方向而去; 所以, 他是抱持逃離和迴避的心, 想把自己隱藏起來, 遠遠的躲避耶和華的誡律.
我長話短說, 重點就是他所搭乘的船, 遇上超級風暴翻覆了, 不幸的他也被大魚裹進了魚腹之中; 就這樣待在魚腹中三天三夜, 當魚被捕獲上岸, 他才從魚腹中脫險而出.
之後, 他向 神悔改, 神仍在他左右, 他服膺耶和華的命令, 前往尼尼微傳道, 而這也是他原本傳道的任務.
你知道嗎? 這真的是我們生活的寫照, 就像當初我沒有遵守耶和華的誡令, 生活即陷入困境; 但當我第一時間就服膺祂的命令時, 我感覺受到了眷顧和照護, 再也不會感到心慌慌難過了.
此時, 我們這裡的電腦死當, 只能耐心等它重新開機~~~
再次連線後, Adam 表示還有一點點沒說完, 就繼續說下去：
“信靠耶和華, 你將擁有豐富的人生”. 像前面所說的先知但以理, 位及人臣, 權傾一時, 先知約拿也一樣; 反倒是尼腓和李海的一時的不信, 致使家族在荒野遊蕩了八年, 吃盡苦頭; 還有上次提到出埃及記裡的以色列人民, 不只不信靠耶和華, 還多有違反誡律之處, 所以, 他們也在荒郊野外歷經風霜雪雨的洗禮達四十年之久.
今天, 我想閱讀以下章節來做為結束：
尼腓一書 1 Nephi 1:65
６５ 我，尼腓，對我父親說：我願意去做上主所吩咐的事情，因為我知道，上主決不向人兒女吩咐任何事情，除非他要為他們預備一條道路，使他們能完成他所吩咐的事情。
65 And it came to pass that I, Nephi, said unto my father, I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them.
信靠耶和華, 得蒙受眷顧與愛護, 得擁有豐富的人生.
