Topic: Palm Sunday主題: 棕櫚節

古以色列國, 掃羅王傳位給大衛王à所羅門王à班傑明王後國勢一落千丈, 又因傳位紛爭, 國家一分為二, 其中十支族人盤踞上半國境, 仍號以色列國, 於西元前721 年, 被敘利亞併吞; 另二支族人留守包括耶路撒冷城的南境, 另號 Judah 猶大國, 也在其後不久於西元前586 年遭到巴比倫併吞.

縱然以色列的人民, 多次的背離了神的誡律, 致使他們嚐到自己滅國與顛沛流離的苦果, 神還是很眷顧他們, 數千年來, 只要他們悔改, 再次的回到 天父的身邊, 不僅給應許之地, 也多次的給予重新立國的機會, 使他們的宗族生命得以延續迄今.

以賽亞書 Isaiah 7:14

因此、主自己要給你們一個兆頭、必有童女懷孕生子、給他起名叫以馬內利。〔就是　神與我們同在的意思〕

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.

以賽亞書 Isaiah 9:6-7

6 因有一嬰孩為我們而生、有一子賜給我們．政權必擔在他的肩頭上．他名稱為奇妙、策士、全能的　神、永在的父、和平的君。

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

7 他的政權與平安必加增無窮．他必在大衛的寶座上、治理他的國、以公平公義使國堅定穩固、從今直到永遠。萬軍之耶和華的熱心、必成就這事。

Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this.

自遠古, 就有先知預言: 將有一童女生子, 且是自亞伯拉罕以降至大衛王的後裔.

彌迦書 Micah 5:2

伯利恆以法他阿、你在猶大諸城中為小、將來必有一位從你那裡出來、在以色列中為我作掌權的．他的根源從亙古、從太初就有。

"But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times."

撒迦利亞書 Zechariah 9:9

錫安的民哪、應當大大喜樂．耶路撒冷的民哪、應當歡呼．看哪、你的王來到你這裡．他是公義的、並且施行拯救、謙謙和和的騎著驢、就是騎著驢的駒子。

Rejoice greatly, O Daughter of Zion! Shout, Daughter of Jerusalem! See, your king comes to you, righteous and having salvation, gentle and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

當時羅馬帝國統領著以色列國度, 因先知預言將有一個王的來到, 所以當耶穌騎著驢子進城的時候, 全城的人在地上鋪滿棕櫚葉(及衣物), 是以救世主之姿來迎接他. 而這也是棕櫚節的由來.

撒迦利亞書 Zechariah 11:12

我對他們說、你們若以為美、就給我工價、不然、就罷了。於是他們給了三十塊錢作為我的工價。

I told them, "If you think it best, give me my pay; but if not, keep it." So they paid me thirty pieces of silver.

耶穌暗喻: 他將被門徒猶大以三十個銀幣給出賣了.

馬太福音 Matthew 21:1-16

1 耶穌和門徒將近耶路撒冷、到了伯法其在橄欖山那裡．

As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage on the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples,

2 耶穌就打發兩個門徒、對他門說、你們往對面村子裡去、必看見一匹驢拴在那裡、還有驢駒同在一處．你們解開牽到我這裡來。

saying to them, "Go to the village ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied there, with her colt by her. Untie them and bring them to me.

3 若有人對你們說甚麼、你們就說、主要用他．那人必立時讓你們牽來。

If anyone says anything to you, tell him that the Lord needs them, and he will send them right away."

4 這事成就、是要應驗先知的話、說、

This took place to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet:

5 『要對錫安的居民〔原文作女子〕說、看哪、你的王來到你這裡、是溫柔的、又騎著驢、就是騎著驢駒子。』

"Say to the Daughter of Zion, 'See, your king comes to you, gentle and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.'"

6 門徒就照耶穌所吩咐的去行、

The disciples went and did as Jesus had instructed them.

7 牽了驢和驢駒來、把自己的衣服搭在上面、耶穌就騎上。

They brought the donkey and the colt, placed their cloaks on them, and Jesus sat on them.

8 眾人多半把衣服鋪在路上．還有人砍下樹枝來鋪在路上。

A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road.

9 前行後隨的眾人、喊著說、和散那歸於大衛的子孫、〔和散那原有求救的意思在此乃稱頌的話〕奉主名來的、是應當稱頌的．高高在上和散那。

The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted, "Hosanna to the Son of David!" "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!" "Hosanna in the highest!"

10 耶穌既進了耶路撒冷、合城都驚動了、說、這是誰。

When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, "Who is this?"

11 眾人說、這是加利利拿撒勒的先知耶穌。

The crowds answered, "This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee."

12 耶穌進了　神的殿、趕出殿裡一切作買賣的人、推倒兌換銀錢之人的桌子、和賣鴿子之人的凳子．

Jesus entered the temple area and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves.

13 對他們說、經上記著說、『我的殿必稱為禱告的殿．你們倒使他成為賊窩了。』

"It is written," he said to them, "'My house will be called a house of prayer,' but you are making it a 'den of robbers.'"

14 在殿裡有瞎子瘸子、到耶穌跟前．他就治好了他們。

The blind and the lame came to him at the temple, and he healed them.

15 祭司長和文士、看見耶穌所行的奇事、又見小孩子在殿裡喊著說、和散那歸於大衛的子孫．就甚惱怒、

But when the chief priests and the teachers of the law saw the wonderful things he did and the children shouting in the temple area, "Hosanna to the Son of David," they were indignant.

16 對他說、這些人所說的、你聽見了麼。耶穌說、是的．經上說、『你從嬰孩和喫奶的口中、完全了讚美的話。』你們沒有念過麼。

"Do you hear what these children are saying?" they asked him. "Yes," replied Jesus, "have you never read, "'From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise'?"

耶穌被以救世主的名號, 甚至於轟動一時的高姿態進城, 既顯神蹟醫治好瞎子與瘸子, 又驅趕盤據聖殿的生意人, 種種舉止惹火了當時披掛著神職外衣的教會中人, 因為他們既無法醫好瞎子與瘸子, 更是讓教堂成為交易場所好抽取稅金, 最重要的是: 他們並不是尊崇 耶和華為唯一的真神.

所以, 他們處心積慮的要置 耶穌於死地, 耶穌也為此獨自在荒野祈求 天父, 不要犧牲祂的生命共三次, 只是天命難違, 最終 耶穌以他的死來換取 天父赦免世人的罪, 一如祂在十字架上的禱告詞: ”祈求 天父免除世人的罪, 因為他們不知道自己在做什麼”.
