Topic: Prophet of Dispensation II   主題: 第­二世代裡的先知

數千年來，挪亞方舟一直是人類歷史與宗教的一個神秘謎團；學術界對於聖經的記載、以及方舟的存與否皆持懷疑態度。但隨著二十世紀以來，方舟的最新遺跡與報告不斷湧現，這似乎說明了聖經的記載並非虛構，亦印證了洪水滅世與上帝救贖的真實性。

創世紀 9:8-17 ( Genesis )

8 　神曉諭挪亞和他的兒子說、

Then God said to Noah and to his sons with him: 

9 我與你們和你們的後裔立約．

"I now establish my covenant with you and with your descendants after you 

10 並與你們這裡的一切活物、就是飛鳥、牲畜、走獸．凡從方舟裡出來的活物立約。

and with every living creature that was with you--the birds, the livestock and all the wild animals, all those that came out of the ark with you--every living creature on earth. 

11 我與你們立約、凡有血肉的、不再被洪水滅絕、也不再有洪水毀壞地了。

I establish my covenant with you: Never again will all life be cut off by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth." 

12 　神說、我與你們、並你們這裡的各樣活物所立的永約、是有記號的。

And God said, "This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come: 

13 我把虹放在雲彩中、這就可作我與地立約的記號了。

I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth.

14 我使雲彩蓋地的時候、必有虹現在雲彩中．

Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, 

15 我便記念我與你們、和各樣有血肉的活物所立的約、水就再不氾濫毀壞一切有血肉的物了。

I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. 

16 虹必現在雲彩中、我看見、就要記念我與地上各樣有血肉的活物所立的永約。

Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth." 

17 　神對挪亞說、這就是我與地上一切有血肉之物立約的記號了。

So God said to Noah, "This is the sign of the covenant I have established between me and all life on the earth."

之後, 地球的樣貌, 也有著巨大的驟變, 原本集中一處的陸地 Pangea, 自此開始四分五裂 Peleg. 也因而展開本世代的開始, 人類開始分散到世界各地, 因著毀滅性的懲處, 還帶有後遺症 – 各地居民的言語, 自此也開始不能直接溝通, ­而這世代的代表人物就是方舟的主人翁 – 挪亞! 他不僅僅是第二世代的頭號先知, 而且還活了有950歲之久.

創世紀 11:5-9 ( Genesis )

5 耶和華降臨要看看世人所建造的城和塔。

But the LORD came down to see the city and the tower that the men were building. 

6 耶和華說、看哪、他們成為一樣的人民、都是一樣的言語、如今既作起這事來、以後他們所要作的事、就沒有不成就的了。

The LORD said, "If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them. 

7 我們下去、在那裡變亂他們的口音、使他們的言語、彼此不通。

Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other." 

8 於是耶和華使他們從那裡分散在全地上．他們就停工、不造那城了。

So the LORD scattered them from there over all the earth, and they stopped building the city. 

9 因為耶和華在那裡變亂天下人的言語、使眾人分散在全地上、所以那城名叫巴別。〔就是變亂的意思〕

That is why it was called Babel --because there the LORD confused the language of the whole world. From there the LORD scattered them over the face of the whole earth.

* 船 = 舟 + 八口 (挪亞方舟上的人數, 在在說明天地間的奧妙, 似乎與主宰的神– 不無關係)
