由於 Monica 父親進院診治, 沒空上 Skype , 她臨時伊媚兒給我, 交代課程內容, 希望大家可以先研讀後再討論, 對於無法跟大家用 Skype 上課, 她感到很抱歉, 並囑咐大家為他父親禱告.
The topic is Repentance. 本周主題是: 反省. 懺悔. 悔悟
James 雅各 4:17
人若知道行善、卻不去行、這就是他的罪了。
Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn't do it, sins.
1 John 約翰一書 3: 4-9
4 凡犯罪的、就是違背律法．違背律法就是罪。
Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness.
5 你們知道主曾顯現、是要除掉人的罪．在他並沒有罪。
But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin.
6 凡住在他裡面的、就不犯罪．凡犯罪的、是未曾看見他、也未曾認識他。
No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.
7 小子們哪、不要被人誘惑、行義的纔是義人．正如主是義的一樣。
Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous.
8 犯罪的是屬魔鬼、因為魔鬼從起初就犯罪。 神的兒子顯現出來、為要除滅魔鬼的作為。
He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work.
9 凡從 神生的、就不犯罪、因 神的道〔原文作種〕存在他心裡．他也不能犯罪、因為他是由 神生的。
No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God.
Romans 羅馬書 6: 1-2, 5-6, 12-13, 16, 22-23
1 這樣、怎麼說呢．我們可以仍在罪中、叫恩典顯多麼。
What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase?
2 斷乎不可．我們在罪上死了的人、豈可仍在罪中活著呢。
By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?
5 我們若在他死的形狀上與他聯合、也要在他復活的形狀上與他聯合．
If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection.
6 因為知道我們的舊人、和他同釘十字架、使罪身滅絕、叫我們不再作罪的奴僕．
For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin--
12 所以不要容罪在你們必死的身上作王、使你門順從身子的私慾．
Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires.
13 也不要將你們的肢體獻給罪作不義的器具．倒要像從死裡復活的人、將自己獻給 神．並將肢體作義的器具獻給 神。
Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer the parts of your body to him as instruments of righteousness.
16 豈不曉得你們獻上自己作奴僕、順從誰、就作誰的奴僕麼．或作罪的奴僕、以至於死．或作順命的奴僕、以至成義。
Don't you know that when you offer yourselves to someone to obey him as slaves, you are slaves to the one whom you obey--whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness?
22 但現今你們既從罪裡得了釋放、作了 神的奴僕、就有成聖的果子、那結局就是永生。
But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.
23 因為罪的工價乃是死．惟有 神的恩賜、在我們的主基督耶穌裡、乃是永生。
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
John 約翰福音 8: 10-11
10 耶穌就直起腰來、對他說、婦人、那些人在那裡呢．沒有人定你的罪麼。
Jesus straightened up and asked her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?"
11 他說、主阿、沒有。耶穌說、我也不定你的罪．去罷．從此不要再犯罪了。
"No one, sir," she said. "Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin."
Ephesians 以弗所書 4:26,27
26 生氣卻不要犯罪．不可含怒到日落．
"In your anger do not sin": Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry,
27 也不可給魔鬼留地步。
and do not give the devil a foothold.
1 Peter 彼得前書 2:21-24
21 你們蒙召原是為此．因為基督也為你們受過苦、給你們留下榜樣、叫你們跟隨他的腳蹤行．
To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.
22 他並沒有犯罪、口裡也沒有詭詐．
"He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth."
23 他被罵不還口．受害不說威嚇的話．只將自己交託那按公義審判人的主．
When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly.
24 他被掛在木頭上親身擔當了我們的罪、使我們既然在罪上死、就得以在義上活．因他受的鞭傷、你們便得了醫治。
He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.
1 John 約翰一書 2: 1-2
1 我小子們哪、我將這些話寫給你們、是要叫你們不犯罪。若有人犯罪、在父那裡我們有一位中保、就是那義者耶穌基督．
My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense--Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.
2 他為我們的罪作了挽回祭．不是單為我們的罪、也是為普天下人的罪。
He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.
Psalms 詩篇 119: 133
133 求你用你的話使我腳步穩當、不許甚麼罪孽轄制我。
Direct my footsteps according to your word; let no sin rule over me.
John 約翰福音 8:34
34 耶穌回答說、我實實在在的告訴你們．所有犯罪的、就是罪的奴僕。
Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.
Matthew 馬太福音 3:2
2 天國近了、你們應當悔改。
and saying, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near."
Mosiah 摩賽亞書 11: 138-140 ( Book of Mormon 穆爾曼書 )
138 如果他在你和我的面前承認他的罪, 並真心誠意地悔改, 你就要饒恕他, 我也必饒恕他.
And if he confess his sins before thee and me, and repenteth in the sincerity of his heart, him shall ye forgive, and I will forgive him also;
139 只要我的人民每一次悔改, 我必饒恕他們對我所犯的罪.
Yea, and as often as my people repent, will I forgive them their trespasses against me.
140 你們也要彼此饒恕你們的罪過, 我實在對你說, 凡當他的鄰人說了願意悔改, 而仍不饒恕他的罪過的, 他已將他自己置於罪刑之下了.
And ye shall also forgive from another your trespasses; for verity I say unto you, He that forgiveth not his neighbor's trespasses, when he says that he repents, the same hath brought himself under condemnation.
