主題 : 受洗前的準備 3 Topic : Pre-Baptismal 3
福音的六大宗旨: 信心, 悔改, 受洗, 接聖靈, 死而復活(新生), 最後的審判(永生)
• 6 Principles of the Gospel: Faith, Repentance, Baptisms, Laying on of hands, Resurrection of the Dead and Eternal Judgment.
耶穌說：要跟從我，並做你們曾看到我所做的事情。
Jesus said: “Follow Me and do the things which ye have seen me Do.”
長老 Frank 說：我們延續上星期日, 繼續來討論 Laying on of hands 接受聖靈的課題. 眾所周知, 耶穌基督是神所鍾愛的兒子, 兩千年前, 他來世間傳福音, 也在各地建立起教堂, 它並不只是一個建築物而已, 是要為人們建立起一個信仰中心, 依著聖靈的引導, 使人的身心靈有所依歸.
尼腓二書 2 Nephi 13:13-15
１３ 因此，我心愛的弟兄們，除非我們樂於遵守父的誡命，我們能跟從耶穌嗎？
13 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, can we follow Jesus, save we shall be willing to keep the commandments of the Father?
１４ 父也說過：你們改、你們要悔改，並奉我愛子的名受洗。
14 And the Father said, Repent ye, repent ye, and be baptized in the name of my beloved Son.
１５ 並且，子的聲音曾臨到我說：凡奉我的名受洗的，父必賜聖靈給他，像賜給我一樣；因此，要跟從我，並做你們曾看到我所做的事情。
15 And also, the voice of the Son came unto me, saying, He that is baptized in my name, to him will the Father give the Holy Ghost, like unto me; wherefore, follow me, and do the things which ye have seen me do.
並且頒布一套” 教義與盟約 Doctrines & Covenants”予世人, 內容除了有關教會各階層的職權與職務分配, 也有提到我們要追隨耶穌的腳步, 一一執行福音的六大宗旨: 信心, 悔改, 受洗, 接聖靈, 死而復活(新生), 最後的審判(永生), 如此方能證成正果, 有朝一日, 就可回到永生之境的天家.
水和聖靈的洗禮 Baptisms- of the water and the spirit
約翰福音 John 3:5
5 耶穌說：「我實實在在的告訴你，人若不是從水和聖靈生的，就不能進神的國。
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water, and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
重生 Reborn, 一個很有意義的字, 如何重生? 人生無法重來, 當然是不可能回母親的肚子, 那麼經由洗禮和已授權長老施以聖靈的澆灌, 使宛如新生, 似乎是最佳的選擇;
路加福音 Luke 3:16
16 約翰說：我是用水給你們施洗，但有一位能力比我更大的要來，我就是給他解鞋帶也不配。他要用聖靈與火給你們施洗
John answered, saying unto all, I indeed baptize you with water, but there cometh one mightier than I, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose, he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire;
耶穌基督被釘十字架, 受冤而死, 然而他並不怨恨迫害他的人, 反祈求天父原諒他們的無知, 因他本就是為祈求天父, 而自願擔負世人所有的罪, 才來人世間走上一遭的. 並且在三天後復活, 更讓世人明白, 至高無上的天父的權柄, 遠遠大於死亡的陰影.
使徒行傳 Acts 8:14-17
14 使徒在耶路撒冷聽見撒瑪利亞人領受了神的道，就打發彼得、約翰往他們那裡去。
14Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John;
15 兩個人到了，就為他們禱告，要叫他們受聖靈。
15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost.
16 因為聖靈還沒有降在他們一個人身上，他們只奉主耶穌的名受了洗。
16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them; only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)
17 於是使徒按手在他們頭上，他們就受了聖靈。
17 Then laid they their hands on them and they received the Holy Ghost.
施洗者約翰, 是神撿選的人, 要他四處傳福音並幫人施洗, 但在耶穌來臨之前, 並沒有任何一人, 接受過聖靈.
耶穌為我們樹立了洗禮的典範 Jesus is our Example of our need to be baptized:
馬太福音 Matthew 3:13-17
13 當下耶穌從加利利來到約但河，見了約翰，要受他的洗。
13 Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.
14 約翰想要攔住他，說：我當受你的洗，你反倒上我這裡來麼？
14 But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?
15 耶穌回答說：你暫且許我，因為我們理當這樣盡諸般的義（或作：禮）。於是約翰許了他。
15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him
16 耶穌受了洗，隨即從水裡上來。天忽然為他開了，他就看見神的靈彷彿鴿子降下，落在他身上。
16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
17 從天上有聲音說：這是我的愛子，我所喜悅的。
17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
耶穌為我們設立洗禮的典範, 並從天父接受到聖靈, 自此世間, 人才開始與聖靈同存在. 耶穌按立使徒, 澆灌聖靈之外, 等同授權他們權柄, 也能幫他人認證(堅信禮). 如此, 基督徒的身份至此確立, 也影響更多的人成為基督徒.
約翰福音 John 1:29-34
29 次日，約翰看見耶穌來到他那裡，就說：「看哪，神的羔羊，除去（或譯：背負）世人罪孽的！
29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
30 這就是我曾說：『有一位在我以後來、反成了在我以前的，因他本來在我以前。』
30 This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me.
31 我先前不認識他，如今我來用水施洗，為要叫他顯明給以色列人。」
31 And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.
32 約翰又作見證說：「我曾看見聖靈，彷彿鴿子從天降下，住在他的身上。
32 And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.
33 我先前不認識他，只是那差我來用水施洗的、對我說：『你看見聖靈降下來，住在誰的身上，誰就是用聖靈施洗的。』
33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.
34 我看見了，就證明這是神的兒子。」
34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.
施洗者約翰, 自我見證說：我幫耶穌洗禮, 但是耶穌基督是第一個, 接受自上面天父而來的聖靈的人, 所以我反倒是祈求耶穌為我行認證(堅信禮). 因為耶穌他是神的兒子.
以三位一體的聖名 In the name of the Father and the Son and The Holy Ghost:
馬太福音 Matthew 28:19-20
19 所以，你們要去，使萬民作我的門徒，奉父、子、聖靈的名給他們施洗（或作：給他們施洗，歸於父、子、聖靈的名）。
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 凡我所吩咐你們的，都教訓他們遵守，我就常與你們同在，直到世界的末了。
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
耶穌對使徒們說：以三位一體的聖名 In the name of the Father and the Son and The Holy Ghost:來為大家施洗與認證.
洗却過往種種的不是 (一般是滿8歲才施洗禮) To take away our sins: (For those who are 8 years old and older)
摩羅乃書 Moroni 8:10-12
１０ 聖靈這樣把 神的話對我顯明了；因此，我的愛兒，你們為小孩施洗，我知道那是一種在 神前嚴重的嘲弄。
10 And after this manner did the Holy Ghost manifest the word of God unto me; wherefore my beloved son, I know that it is solemn mockery before God, that ye should baptize little children.
１１ 看啊，我告訴你，這件事是你應當教導的；對那應負犯罪責任和有犯罪能力的人們教導悔改和洗禮；教導父母必須悔改和受洗，並成為像他們的小孩們一樣的謙卑，這樣他們纔能和他們的小孩們一同得救；而他們的小孩不用悔改，也不用受洗。
11 Behold I say unto you, that this thing shall ye teach, repentance and baptism unto those who are accountable and capable of committing sin; yea, teach parents that they must repent and be baptized, and humble themselves as their little children, and they shall all be saved with their little children: and their little children need no repentance, neither baptism.
１２ 看啊，洗禮是由於悔改以履行誡命而獲得赦罪的。
12 Behold, baptism is unto repentance to the fulfilling the commandments unto the remission of sins.
因為八歲以前的小孩, 還不明白是非對錯, 所以施洗定當在滿八歲以後, 且各國各民都一體適用.
聖靈引導面對真善美 The Holy Spirit Guides us to All Truth:
約翰福音 John 16:13-14
13 只等真理的聖靈來了，他要引導你們明白（原文作進入）一切的真理；因為他不是憑自己說的，乃是把他所聽見的都說出來，並要把將來的事告訴你們。
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth; for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak; and he will show you things to come.
14 他要榮耀我，因為他要將受於我的告訴你們。
14 He shall glorify me; for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you.
聖靈可叫我們明是非、知對錯, 等同是最重要的心靈導師,
阿爾瑪書 Alma 3:74-82
７４ 是的，我是被吩咐為我們祖先所講的關於將要來到的那些事情而站出來向這人民作證的。
74 Yea, I am commanded to stand and testify unto this people the things which have been spoken by our fathers, concerning the things which are to come.
７５ 不僅如此。你們不以為我自己知道這些事嗎？
75 And this is not all. Do ye not suppose that I know of these things myself?
７６ 我對你們作證，我的確知道我所講的這些事是真實的。
76 Behold, I testify unto you, that I do know that these things whereof I have spoken, are true.
７７ 你們猜測我怎會知道這些事的真實性呢？
77 And how do ye suppose that I know of their surety?
７８ 我告訴你們，這些事是由 神的聖靈使我知道的。
78 Behold, I say unto you, They are made known unto me by the Holy Spirit of God.
７９ 為了想自己知道這些事，我曾禁食和禱告了許多天。
79 Behold, I have fasted and prayed many days, that I might know these things of myself.
８０ 現在我的確自己知道這些事是真實的；因為上主 神已藉著他的聖靈而使這些事顯示於我；這就是在我裏面的啟示之靈。
80 And now I do know of myself that they are true; for the Lord God hath made them manifest unto me by his Holy Spirit; and this is the spirit of revelation which is in me.
８１ 而且，我告訴你們，我曾這樣啟示，我們祖先所講的話確是真實的。
81 And moreover, I say unto you, that as it has thus been revealed unto me, that the words which have been spoken by our fathers, are true,
８２ 即如是按照著我裡面的預言之靈仍然是藉著 神的靈顯示，我告訴你們，我自己知道，凡我要對你們講的任何關於將要來到的事，都是真實的。
82 Even so according to the spirit of prophecy, which is in me, which is also by the manifestation of the Spirit of God, I say unto you, that I know of myself that whatsoever I shall say unto you concerning that which is to come, is true,
神所賜予的聖靈, 乃天地間至正、至高的聖靈, 除導引我們步步為營, 趨吉避凶走上坦途與正道, 更是邁向神的王國的憑藉. 至於宇宙間充斥的各種靈體, 若是被邪魔惡靈所入侵, 將使我們步入岐途, 而不得善終.
聖靈就是保會師(耶穌基督)的化身 The Holy Spirit is a Comforter:
摩羅乃 Moroni 8:29
２９ 悔改的初熟果子是洗禮；洗禮經由信心而來，在於履行誡命；履行誡命帶來罪的赦免；罪的赦免帶來溫順和虛心；由於溫順和虛心而蒙到聖靈的眷顧；這位保惠師使人充滿希望和完全的愛；這種愛藉著勤於禱告來持守，直到末期的到來，那時所有聖徒們都將和 神同住在一起。
29 And the first--fruits of repentance is baptism; and baptism cometh by faith, unto the fulfilling the commandments; and the fulfilling the commandments bringeth remission of sins; and the remission of sins bringeth meekness, and lowliness of heart; and because of meekness and lowliness of heart, cometh the visitation of the Holy Ghost, which Comforter filleth with hope and perfect love, which love endureth by diligence unto prayer, until the end shall come, when all the saints shall dwell with God.
想要有聖靈護體、啟發心智、達到真善美的境界很難嗎? 基本上就是要有一顆溫順的心, 象徵悔改後新生的洗禮, 增強信心並嚴守誡律, 如此才能獲得罪的赦免, 以祈蒙聖靈的眷顧;
而種種因緣, 都尚須有耶穌基督這神的兒子當中保, 他是神與人之間的媒介, 也就是說：萬物以耶穌之名祈求, 萬事以基督之名禱告, 如此因緣俱足, 才能蒙恩在未來的那一天, 所有聖徒們都能和 神同住在一起.

摩賽亞書 Mosiah 9:41
４１ 現在我對你們說，如果這是你們心裏的願望，何事使你們仍反對奉上主的名受洗，在他面前作為一個見證，證明你們已和他立約，顏意事奉他，並遵守他的誠命，使他得以將他的靈更豐富地灌注於你們呢？
41 Now I say unto you, If this be the desire of your hearts, what have you against being baptized in the name of the Lord, as a witness before him that ye have entered into a covenant with him that ye will serve him and keep his commandments, that he may pour out his Spirit more abundantly upon you?
尼腓二書 2 Nephi 6:48
４８ 他吩咐所有世人必須悔改，奉他的名受洗，具有對以色列聖者完全的信心，否則他們不能在 神的國度中得救。
48 And he commandeth all men that they must repent, and be baptized in his name, having perfect faith in the Holy One of Israel, or they can not be saved in the kingdom of God.
When we are Baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ We can:
• We can partake of “The Lord’s Supper”.
• We can vote on church business.
• Can live with God in his Kingdom if we keep his commandments.
What are the Responsibilities of becoming a Christian?
• Using a portion of your Time, Talents, and Money to help support the Church.
• Attend Church services
• Tell others about Jesus
• Serving others (love your neighbor as yourself)
• Pray in public and in private
• Study your scriptures
