When asking, “What must I do to be saved?” we must also ask --
What is the meaning and purpose of Baptism?
The work of the cross is God’s offer of life…
Baptism is our acceptance.
當我們想“我怎麼做才能得救？”時, 我們還必須問 –
洗禮的意義和目的是什麼？
為世人犧牲在十字架上的耶穌基督, 換得世人罪的赦免…
而洗禮是祂承認的門檻
(想要得到救贖, 必須經過洗禮)

馬太福音 Matthew 3:13-16
13 當下、耶穌從加利利來到約但河、見了約翰、要受他的洗。
Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John.
14 約翰想要攔住他、說、我當受你的洗、你反倒上我這裡來麼。
But John tried to deter him, saying, "I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?"
15 耶穌回答說、你暫且許我．因為我們理當這樣盡諸般的義．〔或作禮〕於是約翰許了他。
Jesus replied, "Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness." Then John consented.
16 耶穌受了洗、隨即從水裡上來．天忽然為他開了、他就看見 神的靈、彷彿鴿子降下、落在他身上。
As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him.
以弗所書 Ephesians 4:4-5
4 身體只有一個、聖靈只有一個、正如你們蒙召、同有一個指望、
There is one body and one Spirit--just as you were called to one hope when you were called--
5 一主、一信、一洗、
one Lord, one faith, one baptism;
羅馬書 Romans 6:3-5
3 豈不知我們這受洗歸入基督耶穌的人、是受洗歸入他的死麼。
Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
4 所以我們藉著洗禮歸入死、和他一同埋葬．原是叫我們一舉一動有新生的樣式、像基督藉著父的榮耀、從死裡復活一樣。
We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.
5 我們若在他死的形狀上與他聯合、也要在他復活的形狀上與他聯合．
If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection.
彼得前書 1 Peter 3:21
21 這水所表明的洗禮、現在藉著耶穌基督復活．也拯救你們．這洗禮本不在乎除掉肉體的污穢、只求在 神面前有無虧的良心。
and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also--not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a good conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
歌羅西書 Colossians 2:12
12 你們既受洗與他一同埋葬、也就在此與他一同復活．都因信那叫他從死裡復活 神的功用。
having been buried with him in baptism and raised with him through your faith in the power of God, who raised him from the dead.
約翰福音 John 3:1-5
1 有一個法利賽人、名叫尼哥底母、是猶太人的官。
Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a member of the Jewish ruling council.
2 這人夜裡來見耶穌、說、拉比、我們知道你是由 神那裡來作師傅的．因為你所行的神蹟、若沒有 神同在、無人能行。
He came to Jesus at night and said, "Rabbi, we know you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the miraculous signs you are doing if God were not with him."
3 耶穌回答說、我實實在在的告訴你、人若不重生、就不能見 神的國。
In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again."
4 尼哥底母說、人已經老了、如何能重生呢．豈能再進母腹生出來麼。
"How can a man be born when he is old?" Nicodemus asked. "Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb to be born!"
5 耶穌說、我實實在在的告訴你、人若不是從水和聖靈生的、就不能進 神的國。
Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.

使徒行傳 Acts 8:26-40
26 有主的一個使者對腓利說、起來、向南走、往那從耶路撒冷下迦薩的路上去。那路是曠野。
Now an angel of the Lord said to Philip, "Go south to the road--the desert road--that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza."
27 腓利就起身去了．不料、有一個埃提阿伯〔即古實見以賽亞十八章一節〕人、是個有大權的太監、在埃提阿伯女王干大基的手下總管銀庫、他上耶路撒冷禮拜去了．
So he started out, and on his way he met an Ethiopian eunuch, an important official in charge of all the treasury of Candace, queen of the Ethiopians. This man had gone to Jerusalem to worship,
28 現在回來、在車上坐著、念先知以賽亞的書。
and on his way home was sitting in his chariot reading the book of Isaiah the prophet.
29 聖靈對腓利說、你去貼近那車走。
The Spirit told Philip, "Go to that chariot and stay near it."
30 腓利就跑到太監那裡、聽見他念先知以賽亞的書、便問他說、你所念的、你明白麼。
Then Philip ran up to the chariot and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. "Do you understand what you are reading?" Philip asked.
31 他說、沒有人指教我、怎能明白呢。於是請腓利上車、與他同坐。
"How can I," he said, "unless someone explains it to me?" So he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.
32 他所念的那段經、說、『他像羊被牽到宰殺之地、又像羊羔在剪毛的人手下無聲、他也是這樣不開口。
The eunuch was reading this passage of Scripture: "He was led like a sheep to the slaughter, and as a lamb before the shearer is silent, so he did not open his mouth.
33 他卑微的時候、人不按公義審判他．〔原文作他的審判被奪去〕誰能述說他的世代、因為他的生命從地上奪去。』
In his humiliation he was deprived of justice. Who can speak of his descendants? For his life was taken from the earth."
34 太監對腓利說、請問、先知說這話、是指著誰、是指著自己呢、是指著別人呢。
The eunuch asked Philip, "Tell me, please, who is the prophet talking about, himself or someone else?"
35 腓利就開口從這經上起、對他傳講耶穌。
Then Philip began with that very passage of Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus.
36 二人正往前走、到了有水的地方．太監說、看哪、這裡有水、我受洗有甚麼妨礙呢。〔有古卷在此有若是一心相信〕
As they traveled along the road, they came to some water and the eunuch said, "Look, here is water. Why shouldn't I be baptized?"
37 〔腓利說你可以他回答說我信耶穌基督是 神的兒子〕
38 於是吩咐車站住、腓利和太監二人同下水裡去、腓利就給他施洗。
And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him.
39 從水裡上來、主的靈把腓利提了去、太監也不再見他了、就歡歡喜喜的走路。
When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord suddenly took Philip away, and the eunuch did not see him again, but went on his way rejoicing.
40 後來有人在亞鎖都遇見腓利、他走遍那地方、在各城宣傳福音、直到該撒利亞。
Philip, however, appeared at Azotus and traveled about, preaching the gospel in all the towns until he reached Caesarea.
加拉太書 Galatians 3:26-27
26 所以你們因信基督耶穌、都是 神的兒子。
You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus,
27 你們受洗歸入基督的、都是披戴基督了。
for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.
馬可福音 Mark 16:15-16
15 他又對他們說、你們往普天下去、傳福音給萬民聽。〔萬民原文作凡受造的〕
He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.
16 信而受洗的必然得救．不信的必被定罪。
Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
提多書 Titus 3:5
5 他便救了我們、並不是因我們自己所行的義、乃是照他的憐憫、藉著重生的洗、和聖靈的更新。
he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit,

19 所以你們要去、使萬民作我的門徒、奉父子聖靈的名、給他們施洗．〔或作給他們施洗歸於父子聖靈的名〕
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 凡我所吩咐你們的、都教訓他們遵守我就常與你們同在、直到世界的末了。
and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
使徒行傳 Acts 2:38-41
38 彼得說、你們各人要悔改、奉耶穌基督的名受洗、叫你們的罪得赦、就必領受所賜的聖靈．
Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
39 因為這應許是給你們、和你們的兒女、並一切在遠方的人、就是主我們 神所召來的。
The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off--for all whom the Lord our God will call."
40 彼得還用許多話作見證、勸勉他們說、你們當救自己脫離這彎曲的世代。
With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, "Save yourselves from this corrupt generation."
41 於是領受他話的人、就受了洗．那一天、門徒約添了三千人．
Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.
使徒行傳 Acts 22:16
16 現在你為甚麼耽延呢、起來、求告他的名受洗、洗去你的罪。
And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on his name.'

Baptism is always accompanied by faith and repentance.
洗禮是，總伴隨著信心和悔改。
Baptism is God’s terms of surrender.
洗禮是，倚靠神的條款。
Baptism is our signal to God we have accepted Christ’s gospel.
洗禮是，我們已經接受了基督的福音，我們敬奉給上帝的信號。
Baptism is the internal washing away of sin by God.
洗禮是，被上帝自內部洗去罪。
Baptism is “calling on the name of the Lord.”
洗禮是，“呼籲耶和華的名。”
Baptism is being unified with Christ in his death, burial and resurrection.
洗禮是，與基督的死，埋葬和復活結合為一。
Baptism is “clothing” ourselves with Christ.
洗禮是，我們與基督的“形象”一致。
Baptism is “accepting” Christ (on His terms, not ours)
洗禮是，“接受”基督（祂的條款，而不是我們的）
Baptism is when our sins are forgiven.
洗禮是，我們的罪被赦免了。
Baptism is when we are reborn.
洗禮是，我們重生時。
Baptism is an act of faith.
洗禮是，信仰的行為
Baptism is how we enter the kingdom of God.

Baptism is when we become a Christian.

Baptism is when we exchange our life for His.
洗禮是，當我們交換為他的生活。
Baptism is when we die to ourselves and come alive in Christ.
洗禮是，當我們死後，自己能活在基督裡。
Baptism is the washing of regeneration
洗禮是，重生的洗
Baptism is the start of a new life.
洗禮是，一個新生活的開始。
Baptism is proclaiming in Christ the resurrection of the dead.
洗禮是，在宣揚基督的死而復活。
Baptism is when the old dies and the new arises.
洗禮是，舊的死去和新生命出現。
Baptism is when we stop living for ourselves and start living for Jesus.
洗禮是，切結過往自己，耶穌開始與我們同在。
Baptism is how and when we make a decision to dedicate our lives to Christ.
洗禮是，我們做出決定的方式和時間，來奉獻我們的生命予基督。
Baptism is how we enter into a relationship with Christ.
洗禮是，如何建立我們與基督的關係。
Baptism is the proclaiming forgiveness of sins, the end of the old and the birth of the new.
洗禮是，罪得赦免，宣布舊生命的結束和新生命的誕生。
Baptism is only the beginning of a lifelong journey
洗禮，僅僅是一個永生旅程的開始。

is done FOR the FORGIVENESS of SINS(Acts 2:38, Mosiah 9:50)
洗禮是，得到罪的赦免
is done to SAVE us (1Peter 3:21, Acts 2:40, Mark 16:16)
洗禮是，為了救我們
Is done to WASH AWAY OUR SINS (Acts 22:16)
洗禮是，為了洗去我們的罪
is done to be REBORN to new life (John 3:5, Romans 6:3-6, Moroni 6:3)
洗禮是，為了重生到新的生活
is done to CLOTHE ourselves with Christ (Gal 3:26-27)
洗禮是，為了與基督形象一致
is done so that GOD will RESURRECT us from death (Colossians 2:12,
Romans 6:3-6, Moroni 8:29)
洗禮是，上帝會使我們從死亡復活
is done as a REQUIRMENT to enter heaven (John 3:5, Mark 16:16, 2 Nephi 6:48, Alma 5:27)
洗禮是，作為進入天堂的一項要求
is done to put us INTO CHRIST (Romans 6:3-6, Galatians 3:26-27, 2 Nephi 13:15, 1Corinthians 12:13)
洗禮是，為了把我們歸入基督
is done to ENTER INTO A COVENANT with God (Mosiah 9:50, Alma 5:27)
洗禮是，為了與神有約
is done to BECOME A MEMBER OF CHRISTS CHURCH (Moroni 6:4, Acts 2:41)
洗禮是，為了成為基督教會成員
When accompanied by faith and repentance, baptism by (immersion) is how and when our sins are washed away.
洗禮是，浸泡式受洗依著信心和悔改，當下使我們的罪被赦免的方式。
Baptism IS the gospel!
洗禮就是福音！
因為都有中英對照, 又是照本宣科, 所以沒有翻譯, 大概也沒關係, 但是光這麼唸也花了不少時間, (講義內容真的有點多) 不過, 還是感謝他們盡心的找尋資料, 讓我們對課程理解簡單又輕鬆, 也透過學習, 更加的認識我們的主 – 耶和華, 經由耶穌基督的牽引, 讓我們有機會再回到祂身邊.
