早早就上線, 瞧見 Skype “我們已準備好” 留言, 隨即簡單的回應 “HI + OK”, 正納悶為何遲遲不見要連線, 直通台美的網路電話適時的響起. 聽筒那頭傳來 “好久不見” 道地的軟軟京片子的聲音, 可是這回它沒能再嚇我一跳, 我知道這該是 Sarah 除了謝謝、再見、你好、晚安等唯一唸得較長的中文, 果然接下來就是一長串的美式英文…; 她說為什麼看不見我們在線上? (這可就奇怪了) 我直接點視訊通話, 立馬就連上, 為什麼會看不見我們? 無解 @_@
使徒行傳 Acts 10:34-35
34 彼得就開口說、我真看出 神是不偏待人．
Then Peter began to speak: "I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism
35 原來各國中、那敬畏主行義的人、都為主所悅納。
but accepts men from every nation who fear him and do what is right.
法蘭克長老：今天要跟大家談的主題是偽善 Hypocrite, 這是耶穌基督要使徒彼得告訴信眾, 行公義的人, 都是耶和華所喜愛的人.
撒母耳記上 1 Samuel 16:7
7 耶和華卻對撒母耳說、不要看他的外貌和他身材高大、我不揀選他、因為耶和華不像人看人、人是看外貌、耶和華是看內心。
But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."
這裡說的是掃羅王雖然相貌堂堂一表人才, 卻不是耶和華所中意的人, 足見神所揀選的人, 看重的不是他的外貌、膚色、特質, 而是肯祈求禱告, 並且願意遵守祂的誡律的人.
馬太福音 Matthew 23:25-27
25 你們這假冒為善的文士和法利賽人有禍了．因為你們洗淨杯盤的外面、裡面卻盛滿了勒索和放蕩。
"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence.
26 你這瞎眼的法利賽人、先洗淨杯盤的裡面、好叫外面也乾淨了。
Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean.
27 你們這假冒為善的文士和法利賽人有禍了．因為你們好像粉飾的墳墓、外面好看、裡面卻裝滿了死人的骨頭、和一切的污穢。
"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of dead men's bones and everything unclean.
偽善的人, 滿口仁義道德勸勉大家, 私下卻可能男盜女娼, 極其放蕩不羈. 就好像只洗淨杯子的表面 - 光鮮亮麗以示人, 而沒有清理的杯內, 仍然是藏污納垢見不得人.
馬可福音 Mark 7:2-9
2 他們曾看見他的門徒中、有人用俗手、就是沒有洗的手、喫飯。
saw some of his disciples eating food with hands that were "unclean," that is, unwashed.
3 （原來法利賽人和猶太人、都拘守古人的遺傳、若不仔細洗手、就不喫飯．
(The Pharisees and all the Jews do not eat unless they give their hands a ceremonial washing, holding to the tradition of the elders.
4 從市上來、若不洗浴、也不喫飯、還有好些別的規矩、他們歷代拘守、就是洗杯、罐、銅器、等物。）
When they come from the marketplace they do not eat unless they wash. And they observe many other traditions, such as the washing of cups, pitchers and kettles.)
5 法利賽人和文士問他說、你的門徒為甚麼不照古人的遺傳、用俗手喫飯呢。
So the Pharisees and teachers of the law asked Jesus, "Why don't your disciples live according to the tradition of the elders instead of eating their food with 'unclean' hands"
6 耶穌說、以賽亞指著你們假冒為善之人所說的豫言、是不錯的、如經上說、『這百姓用嘴唇尊敬我、心卻遠離我。
He replied, "Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written: "'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.
7 他們將人的吩咐、當作道理教導人、所以拜我也是枉然。』
They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men.'
8 你們是離棄 神的誡命、拘守人的遺傳。
You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to the traditions of men."
9 又說、你們誠然是廢棄 神的誡命、要守自己的遺傳。
And he said to them: "You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe your own traditions!
耶穌基督強烈譴責偽善的法利賽人, 常常告誡他人必須要遵守耶和華的誡律, 自己的心卻背棄、不願遵守耶和華的誡律.
馬可福音 Mark 7:14-23
14 耶穌又叫眾人來、對他們說、你們都要聽我的話、也要明白．
Again Jesus called the crowd to him and said, "Listen to me, everyone, and understand this.
15 從外面進去的、不能污穢人、惟有從裡面出來的、乃能污穢人。〔有古卷在此有〕
Nothing outside a man can make him 'unclean' by going into him. Rather, it is what comes out of a man that makes him 'unclean.'"
16 〔有耳可聽的就應當聽〕
17 耶穌離開眾人、進了屋子、門徒就問他這比喻的意思。
After he had left the crowd and entered the house, his disciples asked him about this parable.
18 耶穌對他們說、你們也是這樣不明白麼．豈不曉得凡從外面進入的、不能污穢人．
"Are you so dull" he asked. "Don't you see that nothing that enters a man from the outside can make him 'unclean'
19 因為不是入他的心、乃是入他的肚腹、又落到茅廁裡。這是說、各樣的食物、都是潔淨的。
For it doesn't go into his heart but into his stomach, and then out of his body." (In saying this, Jesus declared all foods "clean.")
20 又說、從人裡面出來的、那纔能污穢人．
He went on: "What comes out of a man is what makes him 'unclean.'
21 因為從裡面、就是從人心裡、發出惡念、苟合、
For from within, out of men's hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery,
22 偷盜、兇殺、姦淫、貪婪、邪惡、詭詐、淫蕩、嫉妒、謗讟、驕傲、狂妄．
greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly.
23 這一切的惡、都是從裡面出來、且能污穢人。
All these evils come from inside and make a man 'unclean.'"
吞下肚去的飲食, 絕不會汙衊任何人, 會汙衊人的, 只有從心底經嘴裡吐出來的話語; 這話讓我想起, 現今有些人, 把家裡裝飾的金碧輝煌, 牆面上是一整排的皮面、線訂精裝書, 處處可見高檔的傢俱和擺設等等; 然而這一切都中看不中用, 或者說這家的主人, 絕不會把書本拿來翻一翻的, 因為只是裝飾的一部分, 他們借這擺設來彰顯自己的貴氣, 卻也曝露了自己的無知、虛偽、狂妄的一面.
馬太福音 Matthew 23:11-12
11 你們中間誰為大、誰就要作你們的用人。
The greatest among you will be your servant.
12 凡自高的必降為卑、自卑的必升為高。
For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.
自傲自大的人, 將來只能淪為奴僕; 耶和華並不看重人的外表、膚色、特質, 唯有謙卑守約的人, 才能得到獎賞.
加拉太書 Galatians 5:19-25
19 情慾的事、都是顯而易見的．就如姦淫、污穢、邪蕩、
The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery;
20 拜偶像、邪術、仇恨、爭競、忌恨、惱怒、結黨、紛爭、異端、
idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions
21 嫉妒、〔有古卷在此有兇殺二字〕醉酒、荒宴等類、我從前告訴你們、現在又告訴你們、行這樣事的人、必不能承受 神的國。
and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 聖靈所結的果子、就是仁愛、喜樂、和平、忍耐、恩慈、良善、信實、
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 溫柔、節制．這樣的事、沒有律法禁止。
gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
24 凡屬基督耶穌的人、是已經把肉體、連肉體的邪情私慾、同釘在十字架上了。
Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires.
25 我們若是靠聖靈得生、就當靠聖靈行事。
Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.
這是使徒保羅對加拉太人的訓勉, 他說當耶穌基督活在我們心裡面時, 聖靈所結的果子、就是仁愛、喜樂、和平、忍耐、恩慈、良善、信實、溫柔、節制就會在我們的心中萌芽滋長. 這遠比任何外在的誇大無實的膜拜還重要, 還要令人喜悅.
教義與聖約 Doctrine and Covenants 4:1e-2b
[Sec 4:1e] 而且信心、希望、仁愛和愛心，以及眼睛專注於神的榮耀，使他有資格擔任這事工。
and faith, hope, charity, and love, with an eye single to the glory of God, qualifies him for the work.
[Sec 4:2a] 記住信心、美德、知識、節制、忍耐、手足親情、神性、仁愛、謙卑、勤奮。
Remember, faith, virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, brotherly kindness, godliness, charity, humility, diligence.
[Sec 4:2b] 祈求，你們就得到；叩門，就給你們開門。阿們。
Ask and ye shall receive, knock and it shall be opened unto you. Amen.
在教義與聖約裡, 告訴我們的是敬拜唯一的且三合而一– 耶和華、聖子、聖靈的真神. 當你們祈求禱告時, 必得應允; 當你們敲門要跨入永生境界的門檻時, 並定為你們敞開大門.
我強調一聲：美好的事物必須要嚴守堅持本份, 保持良善的心以行公義的事, 不必也無須在意外表美醜、肥瘦、高矮, 依循聖靈在心底的牽引和所指示的方向, 邁出你人生美好的第一步. 這是今天談論有關偽善的內容, 很高興能跟大家在此來分享. 下禮拜見. 拜拜!
