August 24, 2104 聖潔 Sanctification

有誰可以解釋聖潔 Sanctification, 這個字的意義? 多道福長老每每喜歡一開場, 就來個大哉問, 這次也不例外; 有人答“ Holly”! 很好, “Bingo” 就是這意思.
我們討論過很多次, 耶穌基督的完美形象, 不僅深植人心, 也是我們最佳的典範和學習的對象. 今天, 我們由受洗成為基督徒開始, 為了是能得到救恩, 及修身以達成獲得進入永生境界的機會.
約翰福音 John 17:13-20
13 現在我往你那裡去．我還在世上說這話、是叫他們心裡充滿我的喜樂。
"I am coming to you now, but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have the full measure of my joy within them.
14 我已將你的道賜給他們．世界又恨他們、因為他們不屬世界、正如我不屬世界一樣。
I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world.
15 我不求你叫他們離開世界、只求你保守他們脫離那惡者。〔或作脫離罪惡〕
My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.
16 他們不屬世界、正如我不屬世界一樣。
They are not of the world, even as I am not of it.
17 求你用真理使他們成聖．你的道就是真理。
Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.
18 你怎樣差我到世上、我也照樣差他們到世上。
As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world.
19 我為他們的緣故、自己分別為聖、叫他們也因真理成聖。
For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified.
20 我不但為這些人祈求、也為那些因他們的話信我的人祈求．
"My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message,
剛剛唸的這章節, 是耶穌基督為他的門徒向天父耶和華祈求禱告, 希望門徒以他自己為榜樣, 不要怕身體上的折磨, 更不要畏懼死亡的陰影, 勇敢的傳揚天國的福音.
約翰福音 John 17:17; 19
17 求你用真理使他們成聖．你的道就是真理。
Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.
19 我為他們的緣故、自己分別為聖、叫他們也因真理成聖。
For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified.
因為耶穌基督就是活生生的一個例子, 呈現在世人的眼前, 他傳揚天國的福音, 雖遭受極大的折磨, 卻也獲得死而復活的獎賞. 今天只要大家有志一同, 相信想要得到永生的獎賞, 應該是指日可待.
帖撒羅尼迦前書 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
23 願賜平安的 神、親自使你們全然成聖．又願你們的靈、與魂、與身子、得蒙保守、在我主耶穌基督降臨的時候、完全無可指摘。
May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
24 那召你們的本是信實的、他必成就這事。
The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it.
耶穌基督說：我就是光, 就是道, 就是那真理, 除了我沒人能到天父那裡去.所以我們除了學習, 還要想該如何做, 才能跟隨耶穌基督的腳步.
彼得前書 1 Peter 3:15
15 只要心裡尊主基督為聖．有人問你們心中盼望的緣由、就要常作準備、以溫柔敬畏的心回答各人．
But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,
耶和華的愛和寬恕, 彰顯在每個人的身上, 我們也該學會諒解和謙卑, 以及因禱告而產生的信心, 使人更加的喜悅和信靠祂; 更要把愛、喜悅、健康、食物等等因賜予所得到的一切, 給予適時的分享出去.
希伯來書 Hebrew 12:14
14 你們要追求與眾人和睦、並要追求聖潔．非聖潔沒有人能見主．
Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.
大家還記得我上次上課時的主題嗎? (沒想到還來個回馬槍 ^_^) 經過討論和查看筆記, 確定是Obedient順服. 是的, 耶穌基督被愚妄無知的人, 釘死在十字架上, 死而復活, 也是順服天父的旨意, 就只是為了救贖開脫世人的罪.
哥林多前書 1 Corintians 1:30
30 但你們得在基督耶穌裡、是本乎 神、 神又使他成為我們的智慧、公義、聖潔、救贖．
It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God--that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.
而我們祈求禱告, 閱讀經文, 就是為了順服耶和華的旨意, 而與祂取得溝通的管道.
腓立比書 Philippians 2:12-13
12 這樣看來、我親愛的弟兄、你們既是常順服的、不但我在你們那裡、就是如今不在你們那裡、更是順服的、就當恐懼戰兢、作成你們得救的工夫．
Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed--not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence--continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling,
13 因為你們立志行事、都是 神在你們心裡運行、為要成就他的美意。
for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.
這是保羅被揀選成為使徒, 周遊四處宣傳天國的福音時, 訓勉告誡一干大眾信徒, 耶穌基督並不在他身邊, 他依然獲得耶穌基督的神助, 趨吉避凶, 大家也該跟他一樣, 信靠耶穌基督, 來完成一件件看似不可能的任務.
雅各書 James 1:22
22 只是你們要行道、不要單單聽道、自己欺哄自己．
Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.
這裡是說：聽聞道, 起而行; 就是說不單單只是聽聽就好, 還要把它傳揚、分享出去.
羅馬書 Romans 6:19-22
19 我因你們肉體的軟弱、就照人的常話對你們說、你們從前怎樣將肢體獻給不潔不法作奴僕、以至於不法．現今也要照樣將肢體獻給義作奴僕、以至於成聖．
I put this in human terms because you are weak in your natural selves. Just as you used to offer the parts of your body in slavery to impurity and to ever-increasing wickedness, so now offer them in slavery to righteousness leading to holiness.
20 因為你們作罪之奴僕的時候、就不被義約束了。
When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness.
21 你們現今所看為羞恥的事、當日有甚麼果子呢．那些事的結局就是死。
What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of? Those things result in death!
22 但現今你們既從罪裡得了釋放、作了 神的奴僕、就有成聖的果子、那結局就是永生。
But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.
常言道：罪的代價就是死, 唯有稱義者得永生. 所以, 我們既已蒙恩得到罪的赦免, 就該痛改前非, 朝向稱義的道前進, 共同建立起錫安的世界.
希拉曼書 Helaman 2:31
３１ 雖然如此，但他們還常常禁食和禱告，並在他們的謙抑中不斷強大起來，他們對基督的信心也不斷堅定起來，以至他們的靈魂充滿了快樂和安慰，是的，他們的心被洗淨而成為聖潔；這種聖潔的獲得，是由於他們的心交給了 神。
31 Nevertheless, they did fast and pray oft, and did wax stronger and stronger in their humility, and firmer and firmer in the faith of Christ, unto the filling their souls with joy and consolation, yea, even to the purifying and the sanctification of their hearts, which sanctification cometh because of their yielding their hearts unto God.
所以, 堅定的心很重要, 隨時仰望耶穌基督的為人處世, 而適時的禁食和禱告, 更可以加強信念. 晚安!
