ㄧ打開視訊, 史提夫牧師在那頭, 一直道歉, 並解釋一部分教會成員, 由丹長老帶隊, 此刻正在菲律賓佈道傳福音; 另外是畢業/婚禮季節, 有很多活動需參加, 故無法出席視訊.

我公司因為新購設備出狀況, 本週有四位台中過來的工程師, 幫我們重新調整設定, 閒談中提起去年初訪台, 我們共五人其中有數人都是第一次訪問台灣.

印象中的台灣, 北部的冬天, 是又濕又涼冷的, 到處濕答答, 台北的捷運交通, 相當的便捷, 建築物也蠻摩登的; 基隆的話, 大郵輪一艘艘的忙進忙出, 則是很熱鬧的港市.

談過對台灣的初印象, 我就趁機向他們介紹基督耶穌, 期望他們有空可以走進教會, 聆聽福音, 並學習成為基督人.

摩賽亞書 Mosiah 1:48-49

４８　我對你們說，我並非因為要自誇而對你們說我曾將我的日子用在為你們服務上，因為我祗是在為　神服務而已。

48 Behold, I say unto you, that because I said unto you that I had spent my days in your service, I do not desire to boast, for I have only been in the service of God.

４９　我告訴你們這些事是要你們學得智慧，使你們知道當你們在為人類同胞服務時，你祇是在為你們的　神服務而已。

49 And behold, I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom; that ye may learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings, ye are only in the service of your God.

以上談話是班傑明王, 解說如何服侍基督, 他貴為君王, 在主面前依然是一個謙卑的人, 期盼人民也有謙卑的心; 班傑明王以身作則服侍耶和華, 並說世人都需如此.

又說, 世人謙卑相互敬愛, 凡事應以基督為首要, 就是對 神的虔敬, 若心中沒有基督, 就不是真心誠意的, 所以說凡事應以基督為中心.

接下來是有關好撒瑪利亞人Samaritan的故事摘要:

路加福音-Luke 10:30-35

10:30 耶穌接著說，有一個人從耶路撒冷下耶利哥去，落在強盜中間，他們剝去他的衣服，把他打個半死，就撇下他走了。

Jesus, taking up the question, said, A certain man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he fell among robbers, who having both stripped him and beaten him, went away, leaving him half dead.

10:31 適巧有一個祭司，從這條路下來，看見他，就從對面過去了。

And by coincidence a certain priest was going down on that road; and when he saw him, he passed by on the opposite side.

10:32 又有一個利未人，來到這地方，看見，也照樣從對面過去了。

And likewise also a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the opposite side.

10:33 但有一個撒瑪利亞人，行路來到他那裡，看見，就動了慈心，

But a certain Samaritan, who was journeying, came upon him; and when he saw him, he was moved with compassion;

10:34 上前把油和酒倒在他的傷處，包裹好了，扶他騎上自己的牲口，帶到客店裡照料他。

And he came to him and bound up his wounds and poured oil and wine on them. And placing him on his own beast, he brought him to an inn and took care of him.

10:35 第二天，拿出兩個銀幣，交給店主說，請你照料他；此外所花費的，我回來必還你。

And on the next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper and said, Take care of him; and whatever you spend in addition to this, when I return, I will repay you.

此寓言的本意, 就是要世人, 不分族群國度, 都應該要互相幫忙, 也告訴刁鑽的法利賽人, 愛鄰人是出於真心誠意; 故事中路過的前兩人, 還是傷者的同胞, 卻視而不見.

施出援手的撒瑪利亞人Samaritan, 當時猶是猶太人的仇敵, 但是卻真的救了受重傷的猶太人; 因此撒瑪利亞人, 才是最有愛心的人, 他真心誠意的付出.

這個撒瑪利亞人, 聽從基督的話, 做了基督期望他做的事, 有別於前面兩個故意視而不見的同胞, 救助傷者如同服侍ㄧ般安排妥當, 其實也就是同時在服侍主, 也是基督希望我們成為的人, 我們應該要以他為師.

約翰一書-1 John 3:23

3:23 神的誡命就是叫我們信祂兒子耶穌基督的名，並且照祂所賜給我們的誡命彼此相愛。

And this is His commandment, that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, even as He gave a commandment to us.

簡單來說, 以恩慈對待世人的, 也就是服從誡命中, 要愛鄰人的最佳表現.

約翰一書-1 John 4:7-12

4:7 親愛的，我們應當彼此相愛，因為愛是出於神的；凡愛弟兄的，都是從神生的，並且認識神。

Beloved, let us love one another, because love is of God, and everyone who loves has been begotten of God and knows God.

4:8 不愛弟兄的，未曾認識神，因為神就是愛。

He who does not love has not known God, because God is love.

4:9 神差祂的獨生子到世上來，使我們藉著祂得生並活著，在此神的愛就向我們顯明瞭。

In this the love of God was manifested among us, that God sent His only begotten Son into the world that we might have life and live through Him.

4:10 不是我們愛神，乃是神愛我們，差祂的兒子，為我們的罪作了平息的祭物，在此就是愛了。

Herein is love, not that we have loved God but that He loved us and sent His Son as a propitiation for our sins.

4:11 親愛的，神既是這樣愛我們，我們也當彼此相愛。

Beloved, if God has loved us in this way, we also ought to love one another.

4:12 從來沒有人見過神；我們若彼此相愛，神就住在我們裡面，祂的愛也在我們裡面得了成全。

No one has beheld God at any time; if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfected in us.

這些經文指出, 神愛世人, 也期望世人能互相關愛, 如此一來就等同是敬愛 神了. 我來分享一個真實的故事, 或者說是我所知道的見證吧!

有一對夫妻, 他們是山姆和夏琳Sam & Charlene Kemple, 我認識他們約十年之久, 他們也跟在座的很多人都有些關聯, 他們可說是有著極大愛心的一對夫妻.

就在兩年前入冬時, 山姆已經回到天家了, 他在世時, 總是對有需要的人, 不吝惜的伸出雙手, 提供食物和金錢的援助; 甚至常常是把房屋, 借給單身孤獨的人暫住.

閒暇時, 我常與他們聊天, 多半可以聽到他們談論在台灣的種種事跡, 他們是在退休後, 雖然沒有工作也沒有錢, 卻捉住機會來台灣服務, 因為主告訴他們, 要他們來台灣, 他們想要藉由來台灣佈道、傳福音的機會, 來服侍主.

他倆夫妻一生總共來台灣三、四次, 前後花了約莫十五年時間, 自從我在Skype和大家連線後, 我都會去找他們, 聽聽他們說起當年在台灣的時光- 處處是見證.

好像偏離主題了, 我們的寓言來自基督耶穌, 祂教導我們要服務世人, 就如同祂為我們所做的奉獻和犧牲一樣; 相信你們會同意, 剛說的山姆和夏琳, 確實是值得我們學習的榜樣.

他們也為南克萊斯勒分會, 豎立了典範, 自此已有多對夫妻, 放下這邊的一切, 攜家帶眷的移居台灣, 做短暫的居留, 只為要服膺基督的恩慈精神- 愛鄰如己, 實令人敬佩不已.

約翰福音-John 15:4-5

15:4 你們要住在我裡面，我也住在你們裡面。枝子若不住在葡萄樹上，自己就不能結果子，你們若不住在我裡面，也是這樣。

Abide in Me and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me.

15:5 我是葡萄樹，你們是枝子；住在我裡面的，我也住在他裡面，這人就多結果子；因為離了我，你們就不能作什麼。

I am the vine; you are the branches. He who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart from Me you can do nothing.

耶穌比喻說祂自己是樹幹, 那我們就是枝節, 祂與我們同根, 我們才能生存開花結果, 如果離開祂, 我們將一事無成.

約翰福音-John 15:7-8

15:7 你們若住在我裡面，我的話也住在你們裡面，凡你們所願意的，祈求就給你們成就。

If you abide in Me and My words abide in you, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.

15:8 你們多結果子，我父就因此得榮耀，你們也就是我的門徒了。

In this is My Father glorified, that you bear much fruit and so you will become My disciples.

這裡更進一步的說明, 我們需要依附在基督這樹幹上, 才能生存, 順從祂的誡命, 榮耀祂的名, 我們所祈求的, 也必給與成就; 反過來說, ㄧ意孤行, 悖離基督的訓誡, 除了一事無成, 更可能是自行走上滅亡的路.

尼腓二書 2 Nephi 13:27-32

２７　我心愛的弟兄們，在你們已走進這條窄而直的道路後，我要問是否一切都已做完了？

27 And now, my beloved brethren, after ye have gotten into this strait and narrow path, I would ask, if all is done?

２８　我告訴你們，沒有；因為你們還沒有走得那麼遠，除非你們藉著基督的話語，和對他的不可動搖的信心，完全依靠著那位有極大拯救力量者的功勞。

28 Behold, I say unto you, Nay; for ye have not come thus far, save it were by the word of Christ, with unshaken faith in him, relying wholly upon the merits of him who is mighty to save;

２９　因此，你們必須用對上主的堅定信心向前進，懷著一種十分光明的希望，以及對　神和對所人的愛心。

29 Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men.

３０　因此，如果你們向前推進，以上主的話為樂事，並持守到底，父這樣說：你們必得到永生。

30 Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life.

３１　我心愛的弟兄們，這就是那條道路；天底下決沒有任何別的道路和別的名字曾賜給過，使世人得藉以在　神國中得救。

31 And now behold, my beloved brethren, this is the way; and there is none other way nor name given under heaven, whereby man can be saved in the kingdom of God.

３２　這就是基督的教義，也就是那原是一位的，父，子和聖靈的唯一而真實的教義，直到永遠。阿們。

32 And now behold, this is the doctrine of Christ, and the only and true doctrine of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, which is one God, without end. Amen.

我們再回看29. 30節經文, 它說 神的愛或世人的愛, 其本質就是愛鄰如己的, 尤其是教友、親朋之間, 是必須每日如實的展現在生活之中.

這些是我所鍾意的經文, 明白的告訴我們, 持續的、執著的付出關愛, 同時享用基督豐富福音的盛宴, 抱著服務別人, 也就是在服侍基督的心思, 活出公義的歲月, 終將會得到永恆生命的契機.

在今天結束之前, 我想再提醒各位, 從今開始, 往後都要對他人付出關愛, 因為這是基督給予我們的, 最為重要的誡命之一“敬愛上帝”, 還有“愛鄰如己”, 其中敬愛上帝, 要更遠勝於任何的物慾之上. 謝謝大家的出席, 下次見囉!
