箴言 (Proverbs) 2:2
2 側耳聽智慧、專心求聰明．
turning your ear to wisdom and applying
your heart to understanding,
祈求禱告, 應以大眾福祉為優先, 切忌只求己身利益.
箴言 (Proverbs) 3:9-10
9 你要以財物和一切初熟的土產、尊榮耶和華．
Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the
firstfruits of all your crops;
10 這樣、你的倉房、必充滿有餘、你的酒醡、有新酒盈溢。
then your barns will be filled to
overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.
人, 兩手空空的來到世間(臨走也是赤裸裸的離開), 一切所得皆為 神的恩賜, 所以應該無私的照顧福份不及自己的人群, 如此除了能取悅
神, 也必然能得到 神更為豐盛的恩賜.
箴言 (Proverbs) 15:1
1 回答柔和、使怒消退．言語暴戾、觸動怒氣。
A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a
harsh word stirs up anger.
常言道: 為別人的錯而生氣, 不就是對自己的懲罰嗎? 何苦呢?
箴言 (Proverbs) 17:22
22 喜樂的心、乃是良藥．憂傷的靈、使骨枯乾。
A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a
crushed spirit dries up the bones.
愁眉苦臉是一天, 笑容可掬也是一天, 何不敞開胸懷, 保持愉悅的心?
箴言 (Proverbs) 3:5-6
5 你要專心仰賴耶和華、不可倚靠自己的聰明．
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and
lean not on your own understanding;
6 在你一切所行的事上、都要認定他、他必指引你的路。
in all your ways acknowledge him, and he
will make your paths straight.
神的話語是腳邊的燈火, 行走路上的亮光, 信靠 祂, 祂必指引你一條康莊大道.
箴言 (Proverbs) 22:6
6 教養孩童、使他走當行的道、就是到老他也不偏離。
Train a child in the way he should go, and
when he is old he will not turn from it.
身教與言教對學習模仿的孩童來說, 就是最好的榜樣, 我們的一言一行都影響深遠.
箴言 (Proverbs) 31:10; 30-31
10 才德的婦人誰能得著呢．他的價值遠勝過珍珠．
A wife of noble character who can find? She
is worth far more than rubies.
30 豔麗是虛假的．美容是虛浮的．惟敬畏耶和華的婦女、必得稱讚。
Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.
31 願他享受操作所得的．願他的工作、在城門口榮耀他。
Give her the reward she has earned, and let
her works bring her praise at the city gate.
此章節是少數針對婦女所下的註腳, 容貌外在不足歭, 惟有信靠
神的婦女可稱才貌雙全.
箴言 (Proverbs) 16:18
18 驕傲在敗壞以先．狂心在跌倒之前。
Pride goes before destruction, a haughty
spirit before a fall.
此合乎我們成語 “ 驕兵必敗 “, (Monica 特別提出來說你們有一句話跟這個意思一樣)
箴言 (Proverbs) 29:18
18 沒有異象、〔或作默示〕民就放肆．惟遵守律法的、便為有福。
Where there is no revelation, the people
cast off restraint; but blessed is he who keeps the law.
金恩博士說:”我有一個夢”, 在當年是何等的勇氣與智慧, 今天我們也要有一個夢 – 建立一個 “ZION” ( 神在地上的王國); 當你有了目標, 未來就有希望, 信靠 神 - 希望就在眼前.
傳道書 (Ecclesiastes) 3:1-8
1 凡事都有定期、天下萬務都有定時．
There is a time for everything, and a
season for every activity under heaven:
2 生有時、死有時．栽種有時、拔出所栽種的、也有時．
a time to be born and a time to die, a time
to plant and a time to uproot,
3 殺戮有時、醫治有時．拆毀有時、建造有時．
a time to kill and a time to heal, a time
to tear down and a time to build,
4 哭有時、笑有時．哀慟有時、跳舞有時．
a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time
to mourn and a time to dance,
5 拋擲石頭有時、堆聚石頭有時．懷抱有時、不懷抱有時．
a time to scatter stones and a time to
gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
6 尋找有時、失落有時．保守有時、捨棄有時．
a time to search and a time to give up, a
time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 撕裂有時、縫補有時．靜默有時、言語有時．
a time to tear and a time to mend, a time
to be silent and a time to speak,
8 喜愛有時、恨惡有時．爭戰有時、和好有時。
a time to love and a time to hate, a time
for war and a time for peace.
不管它”三年一閏, 好壞照輪”, 還是春光.夏陽.秋雨.冬風, 一切都是天註定;
傳道書 (Ecclesiastes) 1:5-7
5 日頭出來、日頭落下、急歸所出之地。
The sun rises and the sun sets, and hurries
back to where it rises.
6 風往南颳、又向北轉、不住的旋轉、而且返回轉行原道。
The wind blows to the south and turns to
the north; round and round it goes, ever returning on its course.
7 江河都往海裡流、海卻不滿．江河從何處流、仍歸還何處．
All streams flow into the sea, yet the sea
is never full. To the place the streams come from, there they return again.
人也是如此, 時時禱告每日所行所為, 都要依循 神的規範, 該來的來, 該走的時候, 也不枉”瀟灑走一回.”
聽從 神話語的, 必得到 神時時的保護, 眷顧與恩賜; 不愛親近 神的, 神也不在他身旁.
所羅門王祈求 神賜給他智慧, 他也應用高度智慧好好治理國家, 在位其間 (約西元1492年哥倫布發現美洲新大陸時期, 中東地區發生大洪荒) 他有感而發, 因而書寫下箴言 (Proverbs)和傳道書 (Ecclesiastes), 句句屬生活歷練與智慧結晶, 大家不妨抽空細讀這兩篇經書, 從字裡行間除能增長智識, 或許也能啟發你的慧根. 進而更深一層的了解萬物的主宰 神的偉大.
