OF FAITH 信心的12條文之九 Part 3

9. We believe in the
literal gathering of Israel and in the restoration of the Ten Tribes; that Zion (the New Jerusalem) will be built upon the American continent; that Christ will reign personally upon the earth; and, that the earth
will be renewed and receive its paradisiacal glory.

我們信以色列的真正的聚集和十支派的復興; 錫安(新耶路撒冷)將建立在美洲大陸; 基督將親自統治於地上;並且大地將被更新且蒙得樂園的榮耀。

上帝創建了萬物與地球, 初始的地球, 陸地是全部連結在一起的, 外圍環繞著海洋; 起初, 亞當與夏娃是快樂的生活在伊甸園裡, 因受不了誘惑, 吃了不該吃的果實, 被上帝懲處並逐出樂園, 落到凡間過平凡人的生活 – 此時的地球才開始四分五裂成目前的狀態.

Isaiah 40:3-5 (以賽亞書)

3 有人聲喊著說、在曠野豫備耶和華的路、〔或作在曠野有人聲喊著說當豫備耶和華的路〕在沙漠地修平我們　神的道。

A voice of one calling: "In the desert prepare the way for the LORD;
make straight in the wilderness a highway for our God.

4 一切山窪都要填滿、大小山岡都要削平、高高低低的要改為平坦、崎崎嶇嶇的必成為平原。

Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the
rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain.

5 耶和華的榮耀必然顯現、凡有血氣的、必一同看見、因為這是耶和華親口說的。

And the glory of the LORD will be revealed, and all mankind together will
see it. For the mouth of the LORD has spoken."

耶穌基督將再臨到地球, 建立一個千禧年的樂園 -錫安(新耶路撒冷), 然後地球又將重新結合在一起; 所有物種都和平共處, 除歡喜與快樂, 再也沒有悲痛與哀傷.　

Isaiah 65:17-19,25 (以賽亞書)

17 看哪、我造新天新地、從前的事不再被記念、也不再追想。

"Behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former
things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind.

18 你們當因我所造的永遠歡喜快樂．因我造耶路撒冷為人所喜、造其中的居民為人所樂。

But be glad and rejoice forever in what I will create, for I will create Jerusalem to be a delight
and its people a joy.

19 我必因耶路撒冷歡喜、因我的百姓快樂．其中必不再聽見哭泣的聲音、和哀號的聲音。

I will rejoice over Jerusalem
and take delight in my people; the sound of weeping and of crying will be heard
in it no more.

25 豺狼必與羊羔同食、獅子必喫草與牛一樣．塵土必作蛇的食物．在我聖山的遍處、這一切都不傷人不害物、這是耶和華說的。

The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw
like the ox, but dust will be the serpent's food. They will neither harm nor
destroy on all my holy mountain," says the LORD.

誠如預言所說: 大地必以水洗淨(海嘯. 洪水氾濫), 或以聖靈的火來清淨(福島核變. 森林火災四處蔓延);

II Peter 3:10-14 (彼得後書)

10 但主的日子要像賊來到一樣．那日天必大有響聲廢去、有形質的都要被烈火銷化、地和其上的物都要燒盡了。

But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will
disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth
and everything in it will be laid bare.

11 這一切既然都要如此銷化、你們為人該當怎樣聖潔、怎樣敬虔、

Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought
you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives

12 切切仰望　神的日子來到．在那日天被火燒就銷化了、有形質的都要被烈火鎔化。

as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will
bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt
in the heat.

13 但我們照他的應許、盼望新天新地、有義居在其中。

But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven
and a new earth, the home of righteousness.

14 親愛的弟兄阿、你們既盼望這些事、就當殷勤、使自己沒有玷污、無可指摘、安然見主。

So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every
effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him.

這世間, 雖然已領洗的教友, 不計其數, 但心術不正的人, 仍大行其道, 這也是近年來地球頻頻發生災難的緣故;

Alma 19:44-47 (阿爾瑪書)

44 於是事情將是這樣，義人的靈被接到一種幸福的狀態中；那裡叫作樂園，是一種安息的狀態，平安的狀態；他們必在那裡安息，不再煩惱、憂慮和悲傷。

And then shall it come to pass, that the spirits of those who are
righteous are received into a state of ahappiness, which is called bparadise, a
state of rest, a state of cpeace, where they shall rest from all their troubles
and from all care, and sorrow.

45 於是事情將是這樣，惡人的靈，是的，就是那些作惡的人──因為看啊，他們絲毫沒有主的靈；因為看啊，他們寧可選擇邪惡的事，也不選擇良善的事，所以魔鬼的靈進到他們裡面，佔據他們的屋宇。

And then shall it come to pass, that the aspirits of the wicked, yea, who
are evil—for behold, they have no part nor portion of the Spirit of the Lord;
for behold, they chose evil works rather than good; therefore the spirit of the
bdevil did enter into them, and take possession of their house

46 這些靈必被拋到外層黑暗裡；那裡必有哭泣、哀號與切齒，這一切都因為他們自己的罪惡，他們受魔鬼的意志左右而成為俘虜。

And these shall be cast out into outer cdarkness; there shall be
dweeping, and wailing, and gnashing of teeth, and this because of their own
iniquity, being led captive by the will of the devil.

47 這就是惡人靈魂的景況，是的，在黑暗裡，在一種恐怖的狀態中，恐懼地等待神憤怒如火的義憤臨頭；他們要留在這樣的狀態中，而義人也要留在樂園中，直到他們復活的時刻。

Now this is the state of the asouls of the bwicked, yea, in darkness, and
a state of awful, cfearful looking for the fiery dindignation of the wrath of
God upon them; thus they remain in this estate, as well as the righteous in
paradise, until the time of their resurrection.

聖經裡提到新生有9次, 洗禮有52次, 悔改有89次, 而提到耶穌基督將二度臨到世上卻有1500次以上(舊約), 和300次以上(新約); 樂園在天上已然備妥, 通往新樂園的道路, 卻是一條細長的窄路, 而錫安(新耶路撒冷)就要在地上建立, 你準備好要進入樂園了嗎?
