Happy Independence Day 美國國慶日

又到了每週一字的星期五,今晚的字是有關教會的 "C" 開頭的單字. 照例輪番上陣把個黑板寫得滿滿的 "C"字,它們是:
communion,covenant,commandation,creation,call,choice,crucify,church,commit,
confidence,comfirmation,charity,change,choose...etc.
只見 Monica 拿出早已在記憶中消退的黏土,要每個人依心目中所想,捏出教會的模樣,有人簡單塑型代表, 
有人則精雕細琢,接著要我們每人換到下一個位置,去幫他人修飾模型.
之後開始今天的課,Monica 說對於他人的修飾,我們往往抱持不歡迎的態度,想想上帝創造(Creation)並給我們一個完美的人型(依祂的模子做的)與品性(也是近乎完美),可是我們往往卻選擇(Choice)故意破壞- 外在的刺青,酗酒抽菸,和內在的粗言鄙語,粗魯無禮,相信 祂一樣會不喜歡,所以今天才會藉由教會來馴化(Change)我們,希望(Call)我們能悔改再度回到祂身邊.
" 悔改 - 洗禮 - 聖靈 - 戒命 - 最後的審判 - 永恆的生命 "這是一條 神為我們這些迷途羔羊所指引的光明大道,正如經上所說:
"Choose ye this day whom ye will serve, As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."
希望有緣的妳,能夠認真看待這條光明大道,更希望有慧根的妳,最後能接受 祂的領導,與我們一起做見證 - 在永恆的國度裡.
緊接著是今日的小老師 - Cathy 告訴我們她所選的 "C" 字是:
1. Church - 禮拜親近上帝的地方,
2. Commitment - 與上帝的盟約.
"Good news for you 好康報妳知"
教會無償提供這樣的一個地方,讓我們除了可以學習英文外,最重要的事是,期望我們能接受 祂的領導; 我在想,我在這裡學習.成長,在炎炎夏日裡,這是一個可聽福音,時不時還有小點心.當令水果與冰品侍候,又有冷氣可以吹的地方, 還可以打乒乓球練練身體, so, 來這裡,應該是個不錯的選擇,至少我認為我是個受益者 - 這也算是我的見證唄.
機會是給把握住時機的人,聰明如你,又該如何選擇(Agency)呢?

本週延續上星期的讀經課,從使徒行傳第九章後半段說起.
Acts 9 使徒行傳第九章
18 掃羅的眼睛上、好像有鱗立刻掉下來、他就能看見、於是起來受了洗．
Immediately, something like scales fell from Saul's eyes, and he could see again. He got up and was baptized,
20 就在各會堂裡宣傳耶穌、說他是 神的兒子。
At once he began to preach in the synagogues that Jesus is the Son of God.
21 凡聽見的人、都驚奇說、在耶路撒冷殘害求告這名的、不是這人麼．並且他到這裡來、特要捆綁他們帶到祭司長那裡。
All those who heard him were astonished and asked, "Isn't he the man who raised havoc in Jerusalem among those who call on this name? And hasn't he come here to take them as prisoners to the chief priests?"
22 但掃羅越發有能力、駁倒住大馬色的猶太人、證明耶穌是基督。
Yet Saul grew more and more powerful and baffled the Jews living in Damascus by proving that Jesus is the Christ.
31 那時猶太、加利利、撒瑪利亞、各處的教會都得平安、被建立．凡事敬畏主、蒙聖靈的安慰、人數就增多了。
Then the church throughout Judea, Galilee and Samaria enjoyed a time of peace. It was strengthened; and encouraged by the Holy Spirit, it grew in numbers, living in the fear of the Lord.
32 彼得周流四方的時候、也到了居住呂大的聖徒那裡。
As Peter traveled about the country, he went to visit the saints in Lydda.
33 遇見一個人、名叫以尼雅、得了癱瘓、在褥子上躺臥八年。
There he found a man named Aeneas, a paralytic who had been bedridden for eight years.
34 彼得對他說、以尼雅、耶穌基督醫好你了．起來、收拾你的褥子．他就立刻起來了。
"Aeneas," Peter said to him, "Jesus Christ heals you. Get up and take care of your mat." Immediately Aeneas got up.
35 凡住呂大和沙崙的人、都看見了他、就歸服主。
All those who lived in Lydda and Sharon saw him and turned to the Lord.
36 在約帕有一個女徒、名叫大比大、繙希利尼話、就是多加．〔多加就是羚羊的意思〕他廣行善事、多施賙濟。
In Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha (which, when translated, is Dorcas), who was always doing good and helping the poor.
37 當時、他患病而死．有人把他洗了、停在樓上。
About that time she became sick and died, and her body was washed and placed in an upstairs room.
38 呂大原與約帕相近．門徒聽見彼得在那裡、就打發兩個人去見他、央求他說、快到我們那裡去、不要耽延。
Lydda was near Joppa; so when the disciples heard that Peter was in Lydda, they sent two men to him and urged him, "Please come at once!"
39 彼得就起身和他們同去．到了、便有人領他上樓．眾寡婦都站在彼得旁邊哭、拿多加與他們同在時、所做的裡衣外衣給他看。
Peter went with them, and when he arrived he was taken upstairs to the room. All the widows stood around him, crying and showing him the robes and other clothing that Dorcas had made while she was still with them.
40 彼得叫他們都出去、就跪下禱告、轉身對著死人說、大比大、起來、他就睜開眼睛、見了彼得、便坐起來。
Peter sent them all out of the room; then he got down on his knees and prayed. Turning toward the dead woman, he said, "Tabitha, get up." She opened her eyes, and seeing Peter she sat up.
41 彼得伸手扶他起來、叫眾聖徒和寡婦進去、把多加活活的交給他們。
He took her by the hand and helped her to her feet. Then he called the believers and the widows and presented her to them alive.
42 這事傳遍了約帕、就有許多人信了主。
This became known all over Joppa, and many people believed in the Lord.
Acts 10 使徒行傳第十章
1 在該撒利亞有一個人、名叫哥尼流、是義大利營的百夫長。
At Caesarea there was a man named Cornelius, a centurion in what was known as the Italian Regiment.
2 他是個虔誠人、他和全家都敬畏 神、多多賙濟百姓、常常禱告 神。
He and all his family were devout and God-fearing; he gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly.
10 覺得餓了、想要喫．那家的人正豫備飯的時候、彼得魂遊象外．
He became hungry and wanted something to eat, and while the meal was being prepared, he fell into a trance.
11 看見天開了、有一物降下、好像一塊大布．繫著四角、縋在地上．
He saw heaven opened and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners.
12 裡面有地上各樣四足的走獸、和昆蟲、並天上的飛鳥。
It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles of the earth and birds of the air.
13 又有聲音向他說、彼得、起來、宰了喫。
Then a voice told him, "Get up, Peter. Kill and eat."
14 彼得卻說、主阿、這是不可的、凡俗物、和不潔淨的物、我從來沒有喫過。
"Surely not, Lord!" Peter replied. "I have never eaten anything impure or unclean."
15 第二次有聲音向他說、 神所潔淨的、你不可當作俗物。
The voice spoke to him a second time, "Do not call anything impure that God has made clean."
16 這樣一連三次、那物隨即收回天上去了。
This happened three times, and immediately the sheet was taken back to heaven.
17 彼得心裡正在猜疑之間、不知所看見的異象是甚麼意思、哥尼流所差來的人、已經訪問到西門的家、站在門外、
While Peter was wondering about the meaning of the vision, the men sent by Cornelius found out where Simon's house was and stopped at the gate.
22 他們說、百夫長哥尼流是個義人、敬畏 神、為猶太通國所稱讚、他蒙一位聖天使指示、叫他請你到他家裡去、聽你的話。
The men replied, "We have come from Cornelius the centurion. He is a righteous and God-fearing man, who is respected by all the Jewish people. A holy angel told him to have you come to his house so that he could hear what you have to say."
25 彼得一進去、哥尼流就迎接他、俯伏在他腳前拜他。
As Peter entered the house, Cornelius met him and fell at his feet in reverence.
26 彼得卻拉他說、你起來．我也是人。
But Peter made him get up. "Stand up," he said, "I am only a man myself."
28 就對他們說、你們知道猶太人、和別國的人親近來往、本是不合例的．但 神已經指示我、無論甚麼人、都不可看作俗而不潔淨的．
He said to them: "You are well aware that it is against our law for a Jew to associate with a Gentile or visit him. But God has shown me that I should not call any man impure or unclean.
34 彼得就開口說、我真看出 神是不偏待人．
Then Peter began to speak: "I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism
35 原來各國中、那敬畏主行義的人、都為主所悅納。
but accepts men from every nation who fear him and do what is right.
36 神藉著耶穌基督（他是萬有的主）傳和平的福音、將這道賜給以色列人。
You know the message God sent to the people of Israel, telling the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.
37 這話在約翰宣傳洗禮以後、從加利利起、傳遍了猶太．
You know what has happened throughout Judea, beginning in Galilee after the baptism that John preached--
38 神怎樣以聖靈和能力、膏拿撒勒人耶穌、這都是你們知道的．他周流四方行善事、醫好凡被魔鬼壓制的人．因為 神與他同在。
how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.
39 他在猶太人之地、並耶路撒冷、所行的一切事、有我們作見證．他們竟把他掛在木頭上殺了。
"We are witnesses of everything he did in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem. They killed him by hanging him on a tree,
40 第三日 神叫他復活、顯現出來、
but God raised him from the dead on the third day and caused him to be seen.
41 不是顯現給眾人看、乃是顯現給 神豫先所揀選為他作見證的人看、就是我們這些在他從死裡復活以後、和他同喫同喝的人。
He was not seen by all the people, but by witnesses whom God had already chosen--by us who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead.
42 他吩咐我們傳道給眾人、證明他是 神所立定的、要作審判活人死人的主。
He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that he is the one whom God appointed as judge of the living and the dead.
43 眾先知也為他作見證、說、凡信他的人、必因他的名、得蒙赦罪。
All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name."
44 彼得還說這話的時候、聖靈降在一切聽道的人身上。
While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit came on all who heard the message.
45 那些奉割禮和彼得同來的信徒、見聖靈的恩賜也澆在外邦人身上、就都希奇．
The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles.
46 因聽見他們說方言、稱讚 神為大。
For they heard them speaking in tongues and praising God. Then Peter said,
47 於是彼得說、這些人既受了聖靈、與我們一樣、誰能禁止用水給他們施洗呢。
"Can anyone keep these people from being baptized with water? They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have."
48 就吩咐奉耶穌基督的名給他們施洗。他們又請彼得住了幾天。
So he ordered that they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked Peter to stay with them for a few days.

今天玩的是尋寶遊戲,從Monica手中接下第一張的提示起,先翻聖經找出相關經文,下一個提示隱然藏在字裡行間,我們從客廳.餐廳.廚房.客房.從飲水機到冰箱及洗衣機就連廁所都沒放過--逐一的找出一張張的提示,再從經文裡尋求下一個提示,直到找到最後提示是"老師"為止. Monica 說:耶穌基督就是我們人生道路上的明師,祂指引我們一條正確的路,希望大家都能接受祂的領導,並能一起前往永恆的王國,常伴左右.
接著, Monica 要我們在黑板上寫下,有關 D 的字:(她預期我們寫不出她今天要講的字 ->還真被她料中哩)
decide,duty,destroy,discover,delight,desire,doctrine,determine,dwell,dove,divine,deer,demand,day,die...etc, 她的字是:
1.delve 鑽研,專攻 >>> 以聖經為本,精研有成
2.direct 方向 >>> 以耶穌基督為師,行走正確的道路
3.diligent 勤奮 >>> 接受聖靈,不斷的提昇自己
4.deviate 偏離 >>> 不會走入岔道,一起前往永恆的王國
而 Steve 提供 D 字之前,一直要我們提問,我們如果想從他身上借取某樣東西,該如何開口他才會應允? 多方的探詢後,他總說: Not enough! 方知遊戲的重點在於:你迄而不捨提問的精神 - 才是贏家.
由Steve提供的 " D "字是: determination 抉擇 + decision 決定/different 不同 + devotion 奉獻.虔誠

我想說,來教會上課,是沒有壓力.輕鬆自在的,就算你真的不懂英文,也沒有關係,因為課堂上,很多東西是用不到聽跟說,只要你看就能明白,緊接跟著做即可.比如今天的尋寶遊戲,提示由別人負責,查經(中文)我總可以表現一下吧?!在遊戲中學習成長,是最沒有負擔的的一種學習方式,就怕你不來,只要你肯來,這樣的資源絕對能引起你的共鳴的,趁暑假要不要來試看看啊?

今天早課,延續上週的使徒行傳,從第十一章講起,連講兩章到第十二章.
使徒行傳第十一章 Acts 11
15 我一開講、聖靈便降在他們身上、正像當初降在我們身上一樣。
"As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit came on them as he had come on us at the beginning.
16 我就想起主的話說、約翰是用水施洗、但你們要受聖靈的洗。
Then I remembered what the Lord had said: 'John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.'
17 神既然給他們恩賜、像在我們信主耶穌基督的時候、給了我們一樣、我是誰、能攔阻 神呢。
So if God gave them the same gift as he gave us, who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to think that I could oppose God?"
18 眾人聽見這話、就不言語了．只歸榮耀與 神、說、這樣看來、 神也賜恩給外邦人、叫他們悔改得生命了。
When they heard this, they had no further objections and praised God, saying, "So then, God has granted even the Gentiles repentance unto life."
24 這巴拿巴原是個好人、被聖靈充滿、大有信心．於是有許多人歸服了主。
He was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and faith, and a great number of people were brought to the Lord.
25 他又往大數去找掃羅、
Then Barnabas went to Tarsus to look for Saul,
26 找著了、就帶他到安提阿去。他們足有一年的工夫、和教會一同聚集、教訓了許多人．門徒稱為基督徒、是從安提阿起首。
and when he found him, he brought him to Antioch. So for a whole year Barnabas and Saul met with the church and taught great numbers of people. The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch.
使徒行傳第十二章 Acts 12
1 那時、希律王下手苦害教會中幾個人。
It was about this time that King Herod arrested some who belonged to the church, intending to persecute them.
2 用刀殺了約翰的哥哥雅各。
He had James, the brother of John, put to death with the sword.
3 他見猶太人喜歡這事、又去捉拿彼得。那時正是除酵的日子。
When he saw that this pleased the Jews, he proceeded to seize Peter also. This happened during the Feast of Unleavened Bread.
4 希律拿了彼得收在監裡、交付四班兵丁看守、每班四個人、意思要在逾越節後、把他提出來、當著百姓辦他．
After arresting him, he put him in prison, handing him over to be guarded by four squads of four soldiers each. Herod intended to bring him out for public trial after the Passover.
5 於是彼得被囚在監裡．教會卻為他切切的禱告 神。
So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.
6 希律將要提他出來的前一夜、彼得被兩條鐵鍊鎖著、睡在兩個兵丁當中．看守的人也在門外看守。
The night before Herod was to bring him to trial, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and sentries stood guard at the entrance.
7 忽然有主的一個使者、站在旁邊、屋裡有光照耀．天使拍彼得的肋旁、拍醒了他、說、快快起來．那鐵鍊就從他手上脫落下來。
Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. "Quick, get up!" he said, and the chains fell off Peter's wrists.
8 天使對他說、束上帶子．穿上鞋．他就那樣作．天使又說、披上外衣跟著我來。
Then the angel said to him, "Put on your clothes and sandals." And Peter did so. "Wrap your cloak around you and follow me," the angel told him.
9 彼得就出來跟著他、不知道天使所作是真的、只當見了異象。
Peter followed him out of the prison, but he had no idea that what the angel was doing was really happening; he thought he was seeing a vision.
10 過了第一層第二層監牢、就來到臨街的鐵門．那門自己開了。他們出來、走過一條街、天使便離開他去了。
They passed the first and second guards and came to the iron gate leading to the city. It opened for them by itself, and they went through it. When they had walked the length of one street, suddenly the angel left him.
11 彼得醒悟過來、說、我現在真知道主差遣他的使者、救我脫離希律的手、和猶太百姓一切所盼望的。
Then Peter came to himself and said, "Now I know without a doubt that the Lord sent his angel and rescued me from Herod's clutches and from everything the Jewish people were anticipating."
18 到了天亮、兵丁擾亂得很、不知道彼得往那裡去了。
In the morning, there was no small commotion among the soldiers as to what had become of Peter.
19 希律找他、找不著、就審問看守的人、吩咐把他們拉去殺了。後來希律離開猶太、下該撒利亞去、住在那裡。
After Herod had a thorough search made for him and did not find him, he cross-examined the guards and ordered that they be executed. Then Herod went from Judea to Caesarea and stayed there a while.
20 希律惱怒推羅西頓的人．他們那一帶地方、是從王的地土得糧、因此就託了王的內侍臣伯拉斯都的情、一心來求和。
He had been quarreling with the people of Tyre and Sidon; they now joined together and sought an audience with him. Having secured the support of Blastus, a trusted personal servant of the king, they asked for peace, because they depended on the king's country for their food supply.
21 希律在所定的日子、穿上朝服、坐在位上、對他們講論一番。
On the appointed day Herod, wearing his royal robes, sat on his throne and delivered a public address to the people.
22 百姓喊著說、這是 神的聲音、不是人的聲音。
They shouted, "This is the voice of a god, not of a man."
23 希律不歸榮耀給 神、所以主的使者立刻罰他．他被蟲所咬、氣就絕了．
Immediately, because Herod did not give praise to God, an angel of the Lord struck him down, and he was eaten by worms and died.
24 神的道日見興旺、越發廣傳。
But the word of God continued to increase and spread.

Monica 的E字是:1.Every(每個) 2.Eternal(永恆) 3.Emulate(仿效) 4.Example(樣本)
神愛世人,希望大家再回到祂身邊,所以給每個人一個希望,只要大家仿效耶穌基督 - 犧牲奉獻,愛上帝也愛世人 - 的典範,期許得到所應允永恆的生命.

輪到湯師傅的E字: Eden (伊甸園)他先秀三張相片在TV上,再解釋三張相片的內容意境,就這樣講了一個鐘頭....(Monica 說每個人講課5-10分鐘only)隨後還有個小遊戲,就是把自己的缺失寫在三張字條上,然後唸一段"咒語"(省略)再投進前面用安全帽做的票箱,意即祈求上帝的寬恕並改過自新.下課時已是22:30.

雖然 Monica 旅遊不在,但是盡責的她,事先錄製好這兩禮拜五&日所有課的過程,我們依據她在影片中的指示,照常上課.唱詩歌和禱告,一如她在教會一樣.所以今天是講經到使徒行傳的十三和十四章.
Acts 13 使徒行傳第十三章
5 到了撒拉米、就在猶太人各會堂裡傳講 神的道．也有約翰作他們的幫手。
When they arrived at Salamis, they proclaimed the word of God in the Jewish synagogues. John was with them as their helper.
6 經過全島、直到帕弗、在那裡遇見一個有法術假充先知的猶太人、名叫巴耶穌。
They traveled through the whole island until they came to Paphos. There they met a Jewish sorcerer and false prophet named Bar-Jesus,
7 這人常和方伯士求保羅同在、士求保羅是個通達人．他請了巴拿巴和掃羅來、要聽 神的道。
who was an attendant of the proconsul, Sergius Paulus. The proconsul, an intelligent man, sent for Barnabas and Saul because he wanted to hear the word of God.
8 只是那行法術的以呂馬、（這名繙出來就是行法術的意思）敵擋使徒、要叫方伯不信真道。
But Elymas the sorcerer (for that is what his name means) opposed them and tried to turn the proconsul from the faith.
9 掃羅又名保羅、被聖靈充滿、定睛看他、
Then Saul, who was also called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked straight at Elymas and said,
10 說、你這充滿各樣詭詐奸惡、魔鬼的兒子、眾善的仇敵、你混亂主的正道還不止住麼。
"You are a child of the devil and an enemy of everything that is right! You are full of all kinds of deceit and trickery. Will you never stop perverting the right ways of the Lord?
11 現在主的手加在你身上．你要瞎眼、暫且不見日光。他的眼睛、立刻昏蒙黑暗、四下裡求人拉著手領他。
Now the hand of the Lord is against you. You are going to be blind, and for a time you will be unable to see the light of the sun." Immediately mist and darkness came over him, and he groped about, seeking someone to lead him by the hand.
12 方伯看見所作的事、很希奇主的道、就信了。
When the proconsul saw what had happened, he believed, for he was amazed at the teaching about the Lord.
17 這以色列民的 神、揀選了我們的祖宗、當民寄居埃及的時候、抬舉他們、用大能的手領他們出來。
The God of the people of Israel chose our fathers; he made the people prosper during their stay in Egypt, with mighty power he led them out of that country,
18 又在曠野容忍他們約有四十年。〔容忍或作撫養〕
he endured their conduct for about forty years in the desert,
19 既滅了迦南地七族的人、就把那地分給他們為業。
he overthrew seven nations in Canaan and gave their land to his people as their inheritance.
20 此後、給他們設立士師、約有四百五十年、直到先知撒母耳的時候。
All this took about 450 years. "After this, God gave them judges until the time of Samuel the prophet.
21 後來他們求一個王、 神就將便雅憫支派中、基士的兒子掃羅、給他們作王四十年。
Then the people asked for a king, and he gave them Saul son of Kish, of the tribe of Benjamin, who ruled forty years.
22 既廢了掃羅、就選立大衛作他們的王．又為他作見證說、『我尋得耶西的兒子大衛、他是合我心意的人、凡事要遵行我的旨意。』
After removing Saul, he made David their king. He testified concerning him: 'I have found David son of Jesse a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do.'
23 從這人的後裔中、 神已經照著所應許的、為以色列人立了一位救主、就是耶穌。
"From this man's descendants God has brought to Israel the Savior Jesus, as he promised.
44 到下安息日、合城的人、幾乎都來聚集、要聽 神的道。
On the next Sabbath almost the whole city gathered to hear the word of the Lord.
45 但猶太人看見人這樣多、就滿心嫉妒、硬駁保羅所說的話、並且毀謗。
When the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy and talked abusively against what Paul was saying.
46 保羅和巴拿巴放膽說、 神的道先講給你們、原是應當的、只因你們棄絕這道、斷定自己不配得永生、我們就轉向外邦人去。
Then Paul and Barnabas answered them boldly: "We had to speak the word of God to you first. Since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles.
47 因為主曾這樣吩咐我們說、『我已經立你作外邦人的光、叫你施行救恩直到地極。』
For this is what the Lord has commanded us: "'I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.'"
48 外邦人聽見這話、就歡喜了、讚美 神的道．凡豫定得永生的人都信了。
When the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and honored the word of the Lord; and all who were appointed for eternal life believed. 
Acts 14 使徒行傳第十四章
8 路司得城裡坐著一個兩腳無力的人、生來是瘸腿的、從來沒有走過。
In Lystra there sat a man crippled in his feet, who was lame from birth and had never walked.
9 他聽保羅講道。保羅定睛看他、見他有信心、可得痊愈、
He listened to Paul as he was speaking. Paul looked directly at him, saw that he had faith to be healed
10 就大聲說、你起來、兩腳站直。那人就跳起來而且行走。
and called out, "Stand up on your feet!" At that, the man jumped up and began to walk.
11 眾人看見保羅所作的事、就用呂高尼的話、大聲說、有 神藉著人形、降臨我們中間了。
When the crowd saw what Paul had done, they shouted in the Lycaonian language, "The gods have come down to us in human form!"
12 於是稱巴拿巴為丟斯、稱保羅為希耳米、因為他說話領首。
Barnabas they called Zeus, and Paul they called Hermes because he was the chief speaker.
13 有城外丟斯廟的祭司、牽著牛、拿著花圈、來到門前、要同眾人向使徒獻祭。
The priest of Zeus, whose temple was just outside the city, brought bulls and wreaths to the city gates because he and the crowd wanted to offer sacrifices to them.
14 巴拿巴、保羅、二使徒聽見、就撕開衣裳、跳進眾人中間、喊著說、
But when the apostles Barnabas and Paul heard of this, they tore their clothes and rushed out into the crowd, shouting:
15 諸君、為甚麼作這事呢．我們也是人、性情和你們一樣．我們傳福音給你們、是叫你們離棄這些虛妄、歸向那創造天、地、海、和其中萬物的永生 神。
"Men, why are you doing this? We too are only men, human like you. We are bringing you good news, telling you to turn from these worthless things to the living God, who made heaven and earth and sea and everything in them.
22 堅固門徒的心、勸他們恆守所信的道．又說、我們進入 神的國、必須經歷許多艱難。
strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith. "We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God," they said.
23 二人在各教會中選立了長老、又禁食禱告、就把他們交託所信的主。
Paul and Barnabas appointed elders for them in each church and, with prayer and fasting, committed them to the Lord, in whom they had put their trust.

雖然 Monica 她不在台灣,但是盡責.用心的她,老早就把課程內容都錄製成DVD,要我照時間播放,所以說:今晚的課還是她在上的 - 沒有來你就看不到囉.
言歸正傳,今晚的主題是有關 "F",大家輪流上台林林總總的寫下:Fasting, Father, Face, Fact, Fear, Friend, Fear, Freely, Food, Family, Future, Freedom, Fruit, Fill, Fulfill, Forever, Finish...etc.
Rachel:說她選的是"For, Fear & Fasting" 想要明白神傳達給我們的訊息,就要探討和追尋 For 真理, 當接收神的訊息也接受祂成為我們命運的主人之後, 因為聖靈充沛身.心.靈, 把一切交付祂, 你不再 Fear 當勇往直前, 而之後每每遇到重大事項
