Topic : Life after death 主題 : 死後何去何從

"人, 死後何去何從?" 長老 Dan 一開場就丟出個大哉問, 相信這是很多人心中的迷思, 也急欲尋找解答的問題. 在我們的三本經書裡, 很多篇章多有著墨, 今天趁復活節(4/20)即將來臨的前一刻, 跟著大家一起來探討. 首先, 我個人認為在穆爾曼經書裡, 尼腓二書第十三章, 就有相當的言論, 值得我們先來探索一番:

尼腓二書 2 Nephi 13:21-30

２１　我心愛的弟兄們，由此我知道，除非一個人持守到底的跟隨活著的　神的兒子的榜樣，他是不能得救的。

21 And now, my beloved brethren, I know by this, that unless a man shall endure to the end, in following the example of the Son of the living God, he can not be saved;

２２　因此，你們要做我告訴你們的，我所看到你們的上主和你們的救贖主要做的事情；

22 Wherefore, do the things which I have told you I have seen, that your Lord and your Redeemer should do:

２３　因為，那些是為了這緣故而顯給我看的，就是要使你們得以知道你們應當進入的門。

23 For, for this cause have they been shewn unto me, that ye might know the gate by which ye should enter.

２４　因為那扇你們應當進入的門就是悔改和水的洗禮；然後藉著火和聖靈，你們的罪纔得以赦免。

24 For the gate by which ye should enter is repentance and baptism by water: and then cometh a remission of your sins by fire, and by the Holy Ghost.

２５　然後你們就走上這條通往永生的窄而直的道路；你們已從那扇門走了進去；你們已遵照父與子的誡命做了；

25 And then are ye in this strait and narrow path which leads to eternal life; yea, ye have entered in by the gate; ye have done according to the commandments of the Father and the Son;

２６　你們已接受了那為父與子作證的聖靈，來實現他所作的應許，就是如果你們從那條路進去，你們就必得到。

26 And ye have received the Holy Ghost, which witnesses of the Father and the Son, unto the fulfilling of the promise which he hath made, that if ye enter in by the way, ye should receive.

２７　我心愛的弟兄們，在你們已走進這條窄而直的道路後，我要問是否一切都已做完了？

27 And now, my beloved brethren, after ye have gotten into this strait and narrow path, I would ask, if all is done?

２８　我告訴你們，沒有；因為你們還沒有走得那麼遠，除非你們藉著基督的話語，和對他的不可動搖的信心，完全依靠著那位有極大拯救力量者的功勞。

28 Behold, I say unto you, Nay; for ye have not come thus far, save it were by the word of Christ, with unshaken faith in him, relying wholly upon the merits of him who is mighty to save;

２９　因此，你們必須用對上主的堅定信心向前進，懷著一種十分光明的希望，以及對　神和對所有人的愛心。

29 Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men.

３０　因此，如果你們向前推進，以上主的話為樂事，並持守到底，父這樣說：你們必得到永生。

30 Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life.

以上 23 + 24 節談到, 你們應當進入的門, 那也是李海所看到的異像Lehi's Vision裡頭所描述的, 經由窄道通往生命樹的門. 而窄道的起點, 就是悔改和水的洗禮, 先洗去一身的罪; 然後藉著火和聖靈的澆灌, 得到罪的赦免; 如此, 雖然已跨入了窄門的門檻, 依然得遵守基督耶穌的話語和對上主的堅定信心, 懷著一種十分光明的希望, 以及對　神和對所有人的愛心, 並持守到底才能得到永生(28 - 30 節Trust, Obey and Love).

讓所有人成為神的子女, 是基督徒的責任.

啟示錄 Revelation 21:3-5

3 我聽見有大聲音從寶座出來說、看哪、　神的帳幕在人間．他要與人同住、他們要作他的子民、　神要親自與他們同在、作他們的　神．

And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.

4 　神要擦去他們一切的眼淚．不再有死亡、也不再有悲哀、哭號、疼痛、因為以前的事都過去了。

He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

5 坐寶座的說、看哪、我將一切都更新了。又說、你要寫上．因這些話是可信的、是真實的。

He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!" Then he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true."

啟示錄是施洗者約翰預言神再臨的情形, 也間接回答了人們, 對於死後的所有存疑; 但是, 當神再臨的前一刻的此時, 我們依然得面臨一切的苦難, 病痛甚至面對死亡.

摩賽亞書 Mosiah 8:79-82

７９　現在，我把未來之事當過去之事來講，如果基督沒有來到世上，就不會有什麼救贖。

79 And now if Christ had not come into the world, speaking of things to come, as though they had already come, there could have been no redemption.

８０　如果基督沒有從死復活，或是沒有打斷了死亡的枷鎖，使墳墓失去勝利，死亡失去毒刺，就不會有什麼復活。

80 And if Christ had not risen from the dead, or have broken the bands of death, that the grave should have no victory, and that death should have no sting, there could have been no resurrection.

８１　但復活確已有了，所以墳墓已失去了勝利，死亡的毒刺已在基督中被吞沒了。

81 But there is a resurrection, therefore the grave hath no victory, and the sting of death is swallowed up in Christ.

８２　他是世界的光和生命；是一種永無盡期，決不能使之暗淡的光；也是一種永無盡期，決不能再有死亡的生命。

82 He is the light and the life of the world; yea, a light that is endless, that can never be darkened; yea, and also a life which is endless, that there can be no more death.

耶穌說 : " 信我者 , 得永生 "

基督耶穌, 為了全人類罪的救贖, 付出被釘死在十字架上的巨大代價. 然而三天後的復活, 使人們認知神的大能超越死亡的陰影. 在其他宗教裡, 不管佛教, 道教, 或伊斯蘭教, 都沒有提到宗派教主死而復活的事證, (藏傳佛教講的是活佛轉世) 唯獨基督耶穌, 堪稱古今中外的第一人.

現今世上很多國家, 將功在黨國的"偉人", 像木乃伊般的塑金身, 當神一樣的暫厝在廟堂供奉, 令人憑弔. 但是, 那只是一具經過化學與物理處理過, 靈體早已遠颺, 使不致腐爛的屍體罷了. 不懂世人為何會膜拜這樣的東西?

復活的基督耶穌, 依其生前的形體, 完完整整的呈現在世人的眼前, 那是一個完美無暇的附有靈體的身軀, 絕非世俗像木乃伊似, 直挺挺的死屍所能相提並論的.基督耶穌戰勝死亡的陰影 - 永生, 可以是我們的榜樣, 也該是我們有限生命所應追求的終極目標.

所以, 死亡, 不該是個恐懼人心, 使人傷悲的東西, (死去的是由泥土塑造而成會腐朽的肉體, 靈體是永存在的) 而人們求生的意志, 遠遠大過死亡的威脅, 我們應當循正確的管道, 追求永生之道. 甚且, 在最後的審判來臨時, 無憂無懼的站在審判長- 神的面前, 得到永生之鑰.

看完這些, 你還會懷疑基督耶穌所說: "信我者, 得永生" 嗎?

阿爾瑪書 Alma 8:98-100, 103

９８　因為日子要來，所有人都要從死中起來，站在　神的面前，按照他們的所為而受審判。

98 For behold, the day cometh that all shall rise from the dead and stand before God, and be judged according to their works.

９９　有一種死亡叫做屬世的死亡；基督的死就是要解開這種屬世死亡的鎖鏈，使大家都要從這種屬世的死亡中復活。

99 Now there is a death which is called a temporal death; and the death of Christ shall loose the bands of this temporal death, that all shall be raised from this temporal death;

１００　靈和身體要在完美的形態中重新結合：四肢和關節要回復到它們本來的軀體， 就像我們這時候的一樣；

100 The spirit and the body shall be reunited again, in its perfect form; both limb and joint shall be restored to its proper frame, even as we now are at this time;

１０３　甚至連他們頭髮那樣大小的東西也不會失去；每一樣東西都要回復到它完善的軀體，就像現在身體一樣，

103 And even there shall not so much as a hair of their heads be lost; but all things shall be restored to its perfect frame, as it is now, or in the body,

"塵歸塵, 土歸土", 聖經裡明明白白的告訴我們, 人的軀殼, 來自泥土的塑造, 離了靈體的軀殼當回歸塵土, 這是無庸置疑的; 只是, 難道你不想追求像基督耶穌一樣, 死而復活, 並擁有靈體與軀殼的再結合嗎? 仔細看看上面尼腓二書 2 Nephi 13:21-30 所說, 你應當可以找到答案了.

尼腓二書 2 Nephi 6:42-56

４２　但是，那正義的，那以色列聖者的聖徒們，那些已相信了以色列聖者的， 那些已忍受了世上的十字架而不以為恥的，他們必承受　神的國度，那是世界奠基時就為他們準備著的，他們的快樂必永遠充足。

42 But, behold, the righteous, the saints of the Holy One of Israel, they who have believed in the Holy One of Israel; they who have endured the crosses of the world, and despised the shame of it; they shall inherit the kingdom of God, which was prepared for them from the foundation of the world: and their joy shall be full for ever.

４３　我們的　神，那以色列聖者的慈悲是多麼偉大啊！因為他從那可怕的怪物魔鬼那裏，從死亡和地獄中，從那火與硫黃的湖中，就是那無盡的痛苦中，將他的聖徒拯救出來。

43 O the greatness of the mercy of our God, the Holy One of Israel! For he delivereth his saints from that awful monster the devil, and death, and hell, and that lake of fire and brimstone, which is endless torment.

４４　我們的　神是多麼聖善偉大啊！因為他知道萬事萬物，除了他知道的以外，再沒有任何其他的事物存在了。

44 Oh how great the holiness of our God! For he knoweth all things, and there is not anything save he knows it.

４５　他來到世間，好拯救所有的世人，如果他們肯聽從他的話。

45 And he cometh into the world that he may save all men, if they will hearken unto his voice;

４６　因為他忍受所有世人的痛苦，是的，他忍受一個屬於亞當家庭的人的痛苦，包括男人，女人和小孩。

46 For behold, he suffereth the pains of all men: yea, the pains of every living creature, both men, women and children, who belong to the family of Adam.

４７　他忍受這種痛苦使復活得以傳到所有世人的身上，使所有的人在那偉大的審判日都能面前。

47 And he suffereth this, that the resurrection might pass upon all men, that all might stand before him at the great and judgment day.

４８　他吩咐所有世人必須悔改，奉他的名受洗，具有對以色列聖者完全的信心，否則他們不能在　神的國度中得救。

48 And he commandeth all men that they must repent, and be baptized in his name, having perfect faith in the Holy One of Israel, or they can not be saved in the kingdom of God.

４９　如果他們不肯悔改而相信他的名，奉他的名受洗，並持守到底，他們必被定罪，

49 And if they will not repent and believe in his name, and be baptized in his name, and endure to the end, they must be damned;

５０　因為上主　神，以色列聖者，已這樣說過了。

50 For the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, hath spoken it;

５１　因此，他已賜給了一條律法；凡在沒有給予律法的情形下就沒有刑罰；

51 Wherefore he hath given a law; and where there is no law given there is no punishment;

５２　凡在沒有刑罰的情形下就沒有定罪；

52 And where there is no punishment, there is no condemnation;

５３　凡在沒有定罪情形下，則由於那贖罪的緣故，以色列聖者的仁慈有要求拯救他們的權利。

53 And where there is no condemnation, the mercies of the Holy One of Israel have claim upon them, because of the atonement:

５４　他們是被他的力量所拯救。因為那贖罪，已在那些沒有受到恩賜的人們的身上，滿足了他的公道的要求，使他們得被救離那可怕的怪物，死亡和地獄，魔鬼，和那火與硫黃之湖，就是那永遠的痛苦。

54 For they are delivered by the power of him: for the atonement satisfieth the demands of his justice upon all those who have not the law given to them, that they are delivered from that awful monster, death and hell, and the devil, and the lake of fire and brimstone, which is endless torment;

５５　而能回歸到那位賜給他們氣息的　神，以色列聖者那裏。

55 And they are restored to that God who gave them breath, which is the Holy One of Israel.

５６　但是那已受有律法所賜的人，就是那像我們一樣得到了　神的一切誡命， 但他卻又違抗誡命，浪費他被考驗的日子的人有禍了，因為他的景況是可怕的！

56 But wo unto him that has the law given; yea, that has all the commandments of God, like unto us, and that transgresseth them, and that wasteth the days of his probation; for awful is his state!

經書裡告訴我們說: 基督耶穌是為了全人類而死的. 期望人們獲得罪的赦免, 然後陪著他回到上主的身旁. 可是劣根性強的人們, 往往不願遵守基督耶穌的規範而自甘墮落. 所以, 到後來, 也只好檢選肯悔改, 願受洗並接受遵守誡律的人們, 完成他們重回聖潔的神的王國, 並擁有永生的權利.

對於, 從來也沒有聽聞過基督耶穌的人, 採取寬容的態度, 只要肯悔改,受洗並遵守誡律者, 就接受他們無知的過錯. 但是, 對於明明已經認知基督耶穌的人們, 還犯下的錯誤, 就不能說是無心之失了. 這等人, 若果還是不肯悔改, 一昧做惡下去, 那只好讓他們下去如火海般的地獄, 受盡百般折騰. 如此一來, 假使還有心還想離開煉獄的話, 只能等千年過後, 再一次的救贖了.

基督耶穌, 他是我們腳前的燈, 路上的光, 也是唯一指向永生之途的導引.除了他, 沒有人能夠到達聖潔的神的王國, 並擁有永生的權利. 這次很可惜, 沒有能在 Shawn 人生的最後關頭, 祝他一臂之力, 讓他也能擁有永生的機會. 這是我們的努力不夠, 期望大家再努力! 加油!

最後也祈求禱告, 仁慈的上主, 能夠接受他的靈體, 並好生安置, 使他能在另一個安祥平和的世界中, 得到無病無痛完美無暇軀殼, 等待再重逢的一天的到來. 也希望上主的恩慈, 臨到 Shawn 的家人, 撫慰眾人傷痛的心和疲憊的身軀, 好早日重拾起喜悅的歡顏, 更加的樂於親近基督耶穌和上主.
